Lest anybody who is applying in this category think this is the norm, typically people use 6-8 letters for applying under Outstanding Researcher/Teacher category. I have had the opportunity to view 6 ppl's appln. including my own and everyone had 6-8 letters and got their GCs.

Just my opinion....
Technically speaking there should not be a difference. According to most posters as well as knowledgeable people I spoke to, the difference is in the Labor and PD getting current.
However, based on the postings I ve noticed and the time it takes to go through from the ND...

Hi:
Recd. the notice of approval today. Either TSC is getting very efficient or Lady Luck is smiling on me. In any case, should not be long before the batch of I140ers who were together all get approved.

Seems to vary from place to place
When I went to the local INS office, I was told that it had to be 90 days since the ND for them to give me an interim. However, I got my EAD before the 90 day period ended. I understand it is a relatively painless procedure where you just take your 485...

Do you know....

Thanks

Hi:
My details are as follows:
RD: 6/7/01

When I checked the voice message at the TSC I hear "On Dec. 7th, 2001 your finger prints were collected for adjustment of status. It is pending further review."
I got curious and checked...

It is EB1. In fact there was a question whether it makes any difference what category you file in at the 485 stage. Technically I dont think there is, however based on some postings, there seem to be. It was a very interesting learning experience to go through this entire process...
FP or no FP
Alan Alan u do have a point. Yes, we know this information, so what? I am not sure I was able to come to much of a conclusion from all the info available thus far. All I can understand is that there is no rhyme or reason as to who gets their FP done and when. In my case I got my...
