Only if your children are extremely well-behaved.
Not really a good idea to take small children to a ceremony. I've been to oath ceremonies that were extremely annoying due to screaming, out-of-control kids.
So, my advise is to get a baby sitter for a couple of hours.
Hello Gurus,
My friend has had his H1B for 2.5 years now and it will be expiring in October.
Can his new visa (extension) be valid for 3 years or will it be valid for less than 3 years?
Can he ask his company's attorney to make sure it will be valid for 3 years?
His adjustment of status...
I am assuming you answered YES to question 16 about being "cited". Is that correct? If so, how come the IO didn't even mention it during the interview? They are supposed to go through every question/answer.
This is actually a serious infraction since auto insurance (liability) is mandatory. In fact, many people have to go to court because of this.
Just take an updated section on the N-400 with the updated information and you should be fine.
Kris, I hope they take care of this really quick and that you get your oath letter soon.
Besides the photos, what other documents did they ask you to sign during the interview?
Hi Gatedgal,
Congratulations on your successful interview?
What's the name of the form they gave you after the interview? What does it say exactly? Does it say that you've successfully passed the interview?

Sorry to hear that - it's amazing how they don't know what they are doing.
I would also personally stop by the DO and hand it to them.
By the way, how many places need to signed during the interview? The last page of N-400, the 2 photos... anything else?
For those of you who have already passed your interview and had to update your N-400 form during the interview, what is the right moment to present an updated section of your N-400? Is it just before the interview starts or is it after the IO puts you under oath?
Going back to my application...
I believe he meant "a visa for Canada".
No, you do not need a visa to go to Canada regardless of your citizenship as long as you present your US green card to the Canadian immigration.
ok, so I got the tax transcripts by mail for 2006, 2005, and 2004.
For 2003 and 2002 the irs letter says "tax return transcripts are only available for the current and three prior processing years".
So my question is, is that it? I mean if the irs (government agency) is telling me that they...
Just call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 and ask for an original IRS 1722 letter, listing tax information for the past 5 years.
IT'S FREE! You get it in 10-15 days by mail.
They only ask what it's for. I told the lady it was for "Naturalization" purposes. She did not know what "Naturalization"...
Sorry, I don't agree with you. I even looked it up in the dictionary, and I still can't find any resemblance with traffic ticket. But as you said, people have strong beliefs on the subject, so it's not really my job to try and convince anyone.
