Hi all,
I need some advise on my situation.
I first applied for I-485, and got married.
I have got my GC approved 9 months ago and got my plastic card too. Recently I got an offer with different firm and changed my employer.
My wife's I-485 RD & ND is 02/2002. Still waiting for approval. As...

My wife's 485 fingerprints were taken 4 months ago. But AVM still says " On Feb 20th we have received ur case, it will take 390 -420 days for this kinda case.....".
We called FBI and asked about Finger prints and they said They have sent it right after FP were taken.
We called INS...
My wife finished her finger prints in June. She got EAD too.
I don't know getting local transfer if you're married within six months of I-485 filing. I think its just a rumor. Its not true.
I know some people here very straight forward cases , married years before 485, some married...

INS considers your Notice date as the date they received and started processing your application. If you look at your I-485 receipt your Notice Date should be Sept, 26.
I just checked it at other sites.
immigration-law.com shows same dates ( 01/24/2001 ).
I think it is correct. But like some one in this forum said, NSC releasing dates may show that , but not necessarily processing.
May be they don't want too many people to call and follow up on their...
I don't understand why it would be a problem if you change job immediately after approval.
Is there any specific rule that you should stay with company for a while after approval ?
Logically it doesn't sound correct at all for me. When you can change job even before approval, why not...
These dates are official. www.murthy.com has same dates. Looks like immigration.com people are late.
Its quite a move from 5/25/01. This is great.
Is this 07/13/01 ND or RD ?
if you follow the rupnet.com, there are n't many approvals for last 10 days. Don't know whats happening at NSC ? Any take on this ?
Also Any idea when they would start August cases ?
Looks like AVM corrected for some people and not corrected for others. Mine used to be "FP received and Processing was resumed" , I checked yesterday midnight, it says " 390 - 420 days blah...blah....". I hope it will be corrected soon for everyone.
Man...., This NSC driving me nuts with...
You can add your spouse anytime before your case gets approved. I did the same thing. I got married after filing my 485. I joined my wife to the 485 process almost 6 moths after my 485 got filed. There is absolutely no problem with this. Only thing is make sure you receive your wife's I-485...
