picking up packet 4 i am not worried about packet 4. hopefully i will get it before i leave (around 15th aug). if not interview letter can be picked up by a relative and i saw a post sometime back on this forum with the entire p4 scanned. so we can alwys take a printout of that.

krishnap: AC140 can be done with CP approved I140 both New Delhi consulate and Mumbai consulate accept AC140s for cases which were originally approved for CP. this has been confirmed by a whole lot of people on this site. of course you will need the I824 receipt. Search this site to get more info.

sending email vs. calling email is painful. it took them a week or something to reply to my mail. fortunately the phone connection (at least from the west coast) seems pretty good. i have called them 6-7 times in the last month. always got through within 10 mintues of trying.

CSC says upto 4 months from CSC->NVC HR folks called csc. the person there said it may take upto 4 months for csc to mail the i-140 approval to nvc. my 1-140 ad is jan 9th

snnt- please give HR fax details do you know what number HR should send the fax to? is there a number HR can call? I fired my lawyers after i got my I140 (approved Jan 9th).
