Is it okay to give a friends address for receiving the plastic card.
We are not sure where we will be in the next 2-3 months so wanted to give a friends address to receive the plastic cards..
I got approved
While I was out of country I got approved -> WAC-03-019 and my spouse too -> WAC-04-032
Freedom......... yeah!
I need to go for stamping now....... could someone tell me how to go about it and what I would need?
Do I need to setup an appointment?

485_takes_4ever: Sorry for the delayed response. I had asked my lawyers to send an inquiry for 2nd FP. I'm not sure if that triggered it.
However, I know of people around my date who got FP notices without sending an inquiry.
I went and got my 2nd FP done early. I went in today with no...
I got a 2nd Fingerprint notice yesterday in the mail. I plan to try and go early and get it done since I will be out of country on the appointment date.
Got my fingers crossed...............
BTW: Online status still shows the same old status from 2 years back
No! I have not gotten aprroved.. no luck yet!
Here is a hypothetical question (no harm dreaming).......
My RD is Oct 02 (primary applicant)
My spouses RD is Nov 03 (secondary applicant).
If my GC gets approved in the next 6 months, and I leave my job in the next 9 months.... but my...
How about this?
I would think a sub-forum would be a good idea but how about this:
Remember how we used to have certain petitions posted that we needed to sign? They had a table format and any time someone would enter the information you could see there details and others details on that...
Concurrent helps? I wonder!
Well mine is a concurrent file I-140 Mar 02, I-485 filed OCt 02 (before I-140 got approved) ...... so its a concurrent (I guess) but yet NO LUCK!
My spouse and my updated dates have not changed on the web. My date still shows december 02 (date of my fingerprinting) and my spouses shows Nov 03 (date of his filing).
My case has had not much new with the I-485 so I could beleive the last updated date.
However, my spouse had received a...
Evil people!
Indie,
How can you even write all that you did. Just reading it gives shows how evil one can think.
And with a thinking like that you condemn the efforts of a person who has taken out days of time to provide voluntary data to all of us?
Its people like you who don't do anything...
My fingerprinting was last done in Dec 02 and hence the fingerprints have expired. My case has the following history:
I-140 RD: April 02
I-485 RD: Oct 02
I-140 Approval : Dec 02
So I thought I would send an enquiry to BCIS to enquire about refingerprinting (I am hoping that will get my case...
updated dates
You know I really don'tknow how accurate these dates are. My date hasn't changed from the time of the fingerprints which were in Dec 02.
My spouse was recently sent a FP notice, but the online status still shows a date of Nov 03.
The message says nothing about FP notice being sent.
Thanks lusiks!
I was confusing some things here hence the disparity on the dates.
I've written to my lawyer to see if they are willing to send a enquiry. Lets see what response I receive.
So I have a question for anyone who might be able to answer this.
I filed my I-140 on 02/26/02.
I filed my I-485 in OCT 02. (Hence concurrent).
And I received approval for I-140 in Dec 02.
So is my case a concurrent filed case up for review?
lusiks mentioned that your ND should be according...
Well as per earlier rules you could do CP from a country where you were a citizen or the country of your last residence. (I don't know how long you have to have had resided in the country to qualify for it)
So if you were ever a resident of canada then it might be possible to have your CP done...
