    Oath ceremony in Las Vegas!

I posted my oath experience on visajourney.com, but I will copy it here as well for those who visit only this forum: I had my oath ceremony today at the Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse in Las Vegas :D:D My notice said to appear at 9.45 am, the ceremony started at 11 (that was the...

    N-652 Experience

I passed my interview on March 23rd in Las Vegas, and was given N-652 with "Congratulations!...". I got my oath letter about 3 weeks later, and my oath is scheduled for tomorrow.

    Seperation during N400 process

I was asked at my interview if we were still married and "not separated" (exact wording of the IO). So, it does matter whether they live together or not.

    Travel while N-400 is pending

Yes, it is ok travel while your application is pending, provided you have the required time inside the country (30 months in 5 years, or 18 in 3 depending on which category you fall under).

    Yellow letter received.

I received my yellow letter exactly a week before IL. So, Mr Vertigo is right- your IL should be coming soon.

    N400 - Questions

I filled out my names the same as you , and that is what the instructions want you to do: in A, full name ; in B, exactly as it is on your green card (on my green card, I just have a middle initial). Capital block letters should be fine: the form even asks for all capital letters if you are...

    are Tax transcripts necessary?

It probably would not work in every city, but I got my tax transcripts by walking into the IRS office in Las Vegas, took a number, was called to a cubicle and a very nice lady printed the transcripts right away. It only took 10 minutes, and I got the 5 years I needed with no charge. Maybe you...

    re-entry permit

Have you applied to preserve your residency using N470? (that is different from the re-entry permit you mentioned) If you did, then you should be able to count the time before you left the States. Did you leave because of employment abroad? Was your N470 approved?

    Docs to file with N-400?

I submitted the supporting documents with the application- I think that makes it easier for the IO to review your file beforehand (if they do that). If you have them, why not send them in? Also, it depends on whether you file based on the 5-year or 3-year rule. The latter requires more documents...

    Q4 (OCT-DEC) 2008 N400 Filers Tracker

My status did not change even once after they received my application. It was pending when I received the IL, and after I had my interview on the 03/23, it still shows pending.

    re-entry permit

I would say he is right. You stayed out of the country for more than 6 months, so you broke your continuous residency.

Question about signature on naturalization certificate

I will be a little off topic, but I have a question concerning signing the pictures. At my interview, I was not asked to sign the front of the pictures. Do you think I should worry? It seems that everybody posting here was asked to do so, except for me :(

Return Conditional Green Card during Oath?

Actually, my IO told me to bring anything I have ever received from USCIS. She mentioned travel documents, but I never had any. I specifically asked about my conditional green card which has expired more than a year ago, and she said yes, I need to give that one back too. She said we don't want...

90 day district rule immediately preceding filing?

I was in the same situation as you, mavsfan, when I came back from my trip abroad a few months ago. I wondered what I should do because the instructions did not sound very clear on the subject. Finally, I decided to file because, as other members of the forum stated, I had lived in the district...
