Got courtesy copy for approval on 9/24 I got mine on Monday i.e. 10/1 for approval date of 9/24. I dont think the freeze applies to mailing out approval notices. One of my friend got his, approval of 9/25

was your pd current when u filed ?? Check whether your pd was current when you filed the 485. I think that most probably in April 2001 your pd was not current and you filed the 485 and INS rejected it as PD was not current

Dont know... I had called 9/16, was told that the memo to get the I140 back has gone out and they are waiting response from Consulate/NVC. Checked yesterday, case was approved on 9/24. Dont know the excat time, but I was told it should not be more than 30 days by the IIO on 9/16

Finally my case was also approved !!! Confirmed with IIO that case has been approved and an approval notice has been mailed out. She wouldn\'t tell me whether my wife\'s case has also been approved or not. Hope this helps all the august 2000 waiters, hang in there, your turn will come.

No Title The number is correct, the "secret" is to call early in the morning and to hit the redial button repeatedly (sometimes for hours) till you get thru !!!

I talked with an IIO at about 8:45 am (after about 45 min of hold time) and she informed me that they are currently processing August 1st, 2000 ND. My ND is Aug 3rd 2000, she said I should expect a decision in about 30 days. Other Info : EB2, India, PD 3rd Mar. 1999. Hope this helps folks...

hang in there... i had the same problem, got approval on 9/25 I had the same issue, called IIO 2 weeks ago. Was told that they sent the 140 for cp to consulate. Checked yesterday, heard the magic words "This case has been approved... blah blah blah".
