1 For Citizens and Permanent Residents
2 For Non Immigrant type Visas (H1,H4,B1,B2..etc)

Finally received "the card" today by mail. Yes very impressive and I must say is not one that can be easily duplicated. Took exactly 3 months from PP stamping @ SJC to get the card ordered. My wife had her PP stamped in mid July so probably another 2-6 months for her...

Thank you Ciba. Yep that was quicker than expected for the card to be ordered. Hey I have a 08/96 PD, so nothing surprises me about CSC. Still waiting to get the actual card. With CSC "seeing is beleiving".

The message on the AVM has changed to:
"On August 3rd 2001 after approving your application we orgered you a new card. Processing normally takes between 975 and 999 days. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready...."

The only problem with your rgument is, I know of friend who send W-2 ,employment letters and other supporting documents and still got RFE for W-2 or current emplyment letter I t is all luck

SFO is not allowing people from SJ for stamping. I went to stamping last thursday @ SJ INS. I was there @ 4:15 got token # 84 was out @ 10:30 AM. People who got in there till 6:30AM were able to get in. To be safe get in there by 5:30 Am hoever if you get there closer to 5:30 AM expect...
