Folks, I\'m from BayArea, california.. do you know any studios where I can get the kind of picture that will make INS folks happy? ;-)

I mean, for I-485.

I got my pictures taken in santa clara....
...I think the store is called postal connection or something....
got my ap and ead so far (both contain pictures)...
so I guess INS is happy with the pictures :)

Try Sansome Photos in san Jose. They are the default. They will also
do your signature cards.
 
Yellow Pages

In yellow pages, circulated to every house hold, free of charge, under photography section there are tons of studios which announce that they are INS approved.
We found one in our city.

There is a tendency in people to blow everything out of proportion regarding green card issue.
Few of my friends pained such a picture that only few chosen studios do INS photographs.
It is BS. There are tons approved by INS and names are available in yellow pages.

Same things goes for medical - there are hundreds in bay area. Web sites and yellow pages announce INS - immigration photography as a selling point.
 
COSCO Immigration photos?

I doubt it.
Try Foto Depot in San Jose on Basscom Ave.
I did from there.

COSCO on Lawerence Expy

does take passport photographs. They take photos thru a digital camera so don\'t make one look more ugly than one actually is, as does a polaroid.
 
Cosco ADIT photos are just fine

I have taken my photo @ Costco @ Lawrence Expy, Sunnyvale. Costs just $4.99 amd got my GC (actual card).
