I read USCIS is scheduling interviews only after the name check is cleared after April 25. I thought name check was done in parallel after the finger printing. Is this true?
I am in a similar situation though the interview is yet to be scheduled. Can you share what kind of questions were asked about assignment abroad and filing taxes?
Thanks
My question is about N400. Are there people who were asked to bring in more documentation despite complying with the continous residence (though moving abroad but trips < 6 months) and physical presence requirements.
Thanks.
Are there similar cases where naturalization was denied or more documents were sought during the interview due to the lack of presence in the US despite Continous Residency(trips outside less than 6 months) and Physical Presence not broken?
Thanks
Can we apply simultaneously? what additional documentation she needs to provide as she will not have her certificate of naturalization? She will be applying immediately after I take oath.
Thanks for the help.
I hope to complete my naturalization process in the next 2-3 months. Though my daughter (aged 12) is an LPR, she lives abroad due to a family emergency for the last 2 years alongwith my wife. However, with re-entry permit, they have been visiting US regularly. My question is this:

I have my finger printing scheduled next week. Is the interviewed scheduled after the finger printing clearance or is it a parallel event?
Please advise.
Thanks

Thanks..
Thanks for the response.
Since I did not plan well, I have had few mails and W2 sent to the overseas address. Will it be an issue if I give the overseas address as the place of residence?
Thanks for the help.
Best,
I obtained my GC in 2001. I went out of the country in 2003 though I maintained continous residence as my job involved frequent traveling. I returned in 2005. Next month I will be eligible to apply N400.

I have some more time to go before I could apply. Also, being a consultant I have the flexibility to move anywhere.
