ROW EB3 - Good news, advancedment to July 1, 2005.
That's my category. My PD? July 22, 2005.
SUCKS!!
I said it in 2007 - also in 2006 and in 2005...
But maybe this year (2008 fy) it will become true...
A change has to happen in the immigration system -- it makes no sense... Legislation, new President, WHATEVER... but something has to happen.
I think 2008 will be the year that I will...
Fingerprints done on 9/28
Not one. Not two. BUT THREE LUDs (with no change in message) since.
LUDs on 9/28, 9/30 and 10/1.
What does it all mean?????
I'm EB3 ROW PD 7/05
For me, although the letter says that they "received" the application on Sept 4, the box in the form (under Receipt Date) says July 2nd.
So that's what I'm going to go with.
180 natural days (not business days)
Well - you'll both get approval whenever USCIS wants, no matter what you think. You can be optimistic and think that it's possible that it will be within 90 days or pessimistic and think that it will take 10 more years.
But the fact is that what you think (optimistic, pessimistic) is not worth...
Received
To the person that is asking about AUGUST 13 - you gotta wait at least one more month, or 5 weeks... They are doing first week of July right now.
I am July 2nd. I got my noticed on Tue. Sept 11th - Two days later, Sept 13th I got notice of EAD approved, and one day later, Sept 14th...
From what I gathered from other forums, the ones that are receiving notices in August actually were approved in July when their dates were current (under "approval date" it would say July 25, for example, although it was mailed in August)
What is the deal with FBI name checks? I happen to have a very common Spanish name, something like Juan Fernandez-Garcia (that is not my name, just something similar)... With about 45 million hispanics in the US, most of which with the same last name, I'm worried that searches such as Juan...
The only thing you can do is change your address with USPS as well as with the USCIS, and hope that it either gets forwarded to you (which doesn't always happen in my experience, although sometimes they're good about it) and if it doesn't, it will get returned to the USCIS, and they will mail it...
Your case is very unusual and specific, and doesn't reflect the vast majority of EB applicants (which do need a job to earn a living as well as could benefit from their spouses working)
Now, in terms of whether filing in July impacts or not your approval date, it does. While you will not...
In enjoy your bolding the INDIA line, but they all happen to be very retrogressed, so at this point who cares if it's 2001, 2002, 1873 or 200 AC?
The point is that nobody who filed in the past 5 years will be current, and that makes no sense.
well, it's always a gamble
in your situation i might also think about cp although you never now.
you really dont have the same protections with cp as with aos... but it is true that it could be faster as long as your pd is current...
remember - you can't switch jobs and if denied, it's basically...
This is horrible, and very credible coming from AILA
We are in for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG WAIT
Maybe too long...
Maybe not long enough to be worth it...
