    Don't panic manishvora_99.. it is not that RFE (request for additional evidence) that you were thinking of , normally we get at the time of I-140,485 processing time.. It is normal finger print notice.. :-)

    Huracan, Birth certificate - A certified birth certificate or record issued by a civil authority n the country of birth. Marriage certifiacte - Certified marriage certificate issued by a civil authority in the state or country of marriage.

    Yes.. My son did the same.. He had interview on 11/30/09 and asked to postpone the oath. He will be travelling to India in few days and will take oath after he comes back from India. He may receive oath letter later by mail.

    You have to report at oath place by (ONE HOUR BEFORE) 3:15 PM. They need at least 30 min to print your certificate. That means you should be completed your interview by 2:45 PM I guess.

    Thanks wantmygcnow for your suggestion. Don't think I can get a visa that fast from Indian Embassy, Washington D.C. Looks like they at least need 3 weeks to get it.
