N-400 RFE question

Folks,

I checked the status of the N-400 application for both me and my wife. For both of us it shows: RFE mailed on Dec 3rd.

Questions:-

1. Is it normal for every one to go thru the RFE stage?
2. What kind of information is typically requested in the RFE request?
3. I am surprised that they have asked for information from both of us
4. Does this delay the process in any way .. I will obviously respond to the RFE at the earliest.

Any thoughts based on past experience might help.

It is usually a request for fingerprinting. You should be getting a notice in a few days.
 
Don't panic manishvora_99.. it is not that RFE (request for additional evidence) that you were thinking of , normally we get at the time of I-140,485 processing time..

It is normal finger print notice.. :)
