What are the documents required for I 551 stamping after I 485 approval? ANy help is appreciated.

My I 485 was approved yesterday. Filed sep 2002. Wac-02-288-***** The online status shows it has been approved and the approval notice has been mailed, so now will I have to do stamping or will i get card straight away, pl help.

The last time I called them was 4 months bak when I didnt receive my second FP and then I got it done on early aprtil 2005. After that I had to wait to call them and customer servcice for 60 days and I called them yesterday. This is the first time they have mentioned to me abt these name checks...

i called the csc today monring. A kind gentleman answered and said, my name check and syatem check is finished and wtih an officer for final approval, will hear soon. My 485 is pending since 2002 sep. thought of sharing with everyone here

Salary doesnt have to be same. Ca 90 k is equal to 50-60k elsewhere on the east coast. I have read this on sheela murthy website.

What happens when my 485 is apprved and I have my job lost? Will the officer know that my job is lost? Do I have ti show my employment proof letter at the time of gc stamping? Kindly help.

I again called CScs emergency and the guy answered and asked of I am an attorney, when i said NOPE, he asked me to call the Customer service number 1-800 blah blah..... I dont know watt is happening with my case since 2002.
