i called the csc today monring. A kind gentleman answered and said, my name check and syatem check is finished and wtih an officer for final approval, will hear soon.

My 485 is pending since 2002 sep.

thought of sharing with everyone here
 
Hi can u tell me when was the last time u called or emailed CIS and what the response was. I am just tryign to guess if they got ur name check response back in the last 2 days
 
The last time I called them was 4 months bak when I didnt receive my second FP and then I got it done on early aprtil 2005. After that I had to wait to call them and customer servcice for 60 days and I called them yesterday. This is the first time they have mentioned to me abt these name checks and other security checks. I hope I will be approved soon, have ben waititng for too long , especially when I was on L1 and didnt have to go thorugh labor. All the best to you
