Congratulations Venati! it is wonderful to hear this good news. That leaves Vengan, GCwalla Baba, me and I don't know who else.
Was this updated today or Saturday?
I have seen on this board, case under review means within two weeks or even sooner you are waiting to be approved. So don't worry you are almost there.
Congratulations Wool! You have shown some hope for the remaining August filers. Have a wonderful celebration. Hope Venati, Vengan and GC wallababa soon follow.
Your file could have been requested from either of the two places- National Visa Center, NH or from the consulate of your home country. Look up your I-140 approval . It will tell you if your case was approved for Consular processing or AOS. If it is Cp then your file would still be at either of...
Like you a bunch of August filers are still awaiting their approval. You say you got yours today. I am sure there is a way around this deision regarding your family. You should start talking to your lawyer immediately.
Was this your first talk with the INS official?
Also, I have learned that the officer who gives you a reply about your case is making a guesstimate on behalf of another officer who actually has your case. The officer does not consult the officer concerned before giving you a reply. Evey officer I have spoken to said 30 days wait over a...
Vengan I spoke with the IIO this afternoon. I could sense she also felt adjudication was over due. Now I feel strongly our cases are with the same slow officer. Won't be surprised if both our cases are approved around two weeks from now.
Vengan at least you have a date to wait for. I have always been told 30 more days whenever I have called. So since my last call was around Sep 25, I hope at least by the month end I should be approved.
Congratulations Great K You have been an angel on this site and you deserve every success.
I am also from CT. RD August 23, ND Octb 16. Still waiting for approval. Can you post the address of the Hartford office you went for stamping. Hoping to be in that stage soon,
Thanks
Roran If your I-140 approval talks about a choice , then that is what it is. You exercised the choice for AOS and so your papers never left INS Vermont to the National Visa Center and from there to any cnsulate office. So you are fine.
Good news Vengan. But I still cannot figure out whether the officer to whom our case is assigned, is slow or our cases appear complicated to them. I hope we see some results on October 8,2002. Too long a wait.
