INS updating status during audit?

Is AVM or online case status being updated during the audit period?
Some ppl heard tranfer msgs on the AVM as per some threads so I am lil confused.
 
Only approvals and denials are not updated. RFE's and transfers do not constitute final decision on the case and are being updated as usual.

Don't forget that the AVM isn't updated until the RFE is mailed, not just issued. There is a long backlog (~3-4 weeks) in terms of RFE mailing at VSC right now.
