You may already be aware, but the RFE goes to the lawyer.
Since you are in your final stages, it is in your best interest to continue with the existing lawyer, unless you have any issues with them.
Generally the lawyers have been paid by this stage, and wouldn't mind to keep your file open...
CIS sends only one original RFE document to the lawyer. There have been some rare incidences where the RFE has gone to the Employer.
Per RFE notice on the CIS website, if 14 days have passed and the lawyer has not received it, you may call CIS and ask the details.
Remember, you have 3 months...

For me they have asked employment verification letter.
For my son, its Birth certificate with his name.
I've changed my job after 180 days. My current employer has provided the employment verification letter.
Should I send the AC21 letter too?
