guess so.... The USA is still a great country. After leaving my home country, I have continusly in the USA for 11 year... as well as 9 years in a couple of EU countries. I compared both and now I seemed to have a different conclusion... :( I suppose I'll end up like one of those people...

in your own objective opinion, which is better? US citizenship or EU citizenship?

No, in fact, I recently(3 months ago) started a new job making almost 70% more than my last job. However, last week, I interviewed and was offered a new job in a EU nation. If I accept their offer, I will end up making way less money, probably less than USD$89000 per year, before the...

I recall reading about that one.... The US Border Patrol has the authority to setup checkpoints inside the US... however, I believe they are only allowed to do this 50 miles from the nearest US/Canda or US/Mexico border. Do you know if it's 50 miles or 40 miles or something else? Where can...

Craig Ferguson takes the citizenship test...

:D back to Craig Ferguson.... I wonder his naturalization application got approved? On the N400, it specifically asks if you're a habitual drunkard. Ferguson was an alcoholic, wasn't he? He isn't one now, so does that mean the USCIS doesn't care, as long as you have becom sober after rehab?

are Naturalization Certificates numbered consecutively? only 31 million naturalized?

that's why I'm confused as well.... if there had only been around 30 million naturalized citizens over the last 100 years, that's not a very large number. just consider the fact that there are estimated to be 12 millino illegal aliens inside the US right at this very moment)

Do they stop asking stupid questions at POE(air, land)after you become a US citizen?

If you don't look caucasian or black, or perhaps speak English with a slight foreign accent, they probably start looking at your place of birth. But I think the CBP is supposed to be suspicious of EVERYONE trying to cross the border.
