Can we make it 9:00 pm EST on both days? 2:00 pm Pacific is right in the middle of the day and difficult to manage.
I will be on the conference call this weekend.
dsatish,
Don't you think it is a little too soon to reach the conclusion that we are "falling apart, lacking any co-ordinated responses and lacking in enthusism with regard to our communication with Rajiv". The core team had its first conference call just 4 days ago. But yes I agree that we need to move forward and move faster on the implementation of sub-committees, in order to improve communication levels, not just with Rajiv but the entire immigrationportal.com community.

Rajiv,
Please see the various litigation against CIS by AILF.
AILF Legal Action Center Litigation Updates
Excerpt from AILF litigation:
This class action lawsuit challenges the INS’ failure to adjudicate adjustment applications for asylees.
>>>>>The District Court for the District of Minnesota denied the Defendants' Motion to Transfer Venue from Minnesota to the District of Columbia. Ngwanyia v. Ashcroft will proceed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. To see a copy of AILF's response to the Defendant's motion, click here.<<<<<
Atleast based on this case, it looks like CIS prefers D.C than Minnessota. You might be aware of the court that might be more favorable to us than CIS, anyway I just thought of just sharing the info that I read sometime back since I came across the discussion about preference of court.

Remember, I have taken into account rulings from various courts. And I have access to resources that you do not. Right now, the BEST court in my humble opinion is Northern District of Illionis. But DC is very convenient and may turn out to be just as good. Why AILF wanted a transfer of venue, I can ask Nadine. But, wait until I have a draft ready. Let me have your input. Be assured I am reading all the threads. But I will respond only if necessary. Otherwise, I will never be able to get the job done. So keep your comments coming. They always help set up new lines of thinking.
By the way, Nadine's complaint made two excellent points, which I am shamelessly stealing for us.

Cinta,
Can you make it to today's conference call at 9pm EST ? If so, please respond here so that edison can send the conference call details to you. You have spent more time than any of us on law suit issues. That's why i feel that your presence will be helpful for today's meeting. Once we meet tonight, we can apprise Rajiv about our discussion and we can arrange a conference call with Rajiv in the next 2 or 3 days.
I am back but I have to leave soon for my wife's doctor appointment, so I can not call in today.Originally posted by dsatish
See you all 9pm (EST), 8pm (CST), 6pm (PST). We can talk about changing the timings for Saturday meetings.
