I was moving to another state and my attorney said I could re-schedule it which I did. Then I waited other 7 years to get a new appointment!!!

Good luck with the Mandamus but the delay caused by you may cost you.

You wrote that you got “decision was mailed”.
Did you have any update after this such as “fees were waived” “new card is being produced” and possibility to add your case in USCIS account?

Yes, later my case status changed to “fees were waived” then“new card is being produced”, received approvals letter in the mail.
Now I am waiting for new EAD

05.2017 interview notice (requested re-scheduling)
01/24/2024 interview day and status changed to decision pending
10/30/2024 You completed your interview with USCIS and status changed to Application pending.
Do you recommend file Mandamus now?
Do I hire the same attorney in my case?

Why you are thinking to file a mandamus since you just completed your interview 21 days ago , mandamus for delay decision work only if it’s delayed for 18 months
