Waiting Asylum decision

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing which office you were interviewed in?

I believe that @mi2025 had the same situation where his status changed to the same as yours.
As you can see above, they got approved afterwards. Just takes time.
It means they started working on it, expect it to change to some other status soon. It can be anything though, from a request to get a supporting document, new fingerprints taken or decision made.

I applied asylum 2021 on October and had asylum interview 2024 on December and
I was married when I applied to asylum 2024 may we applied for EAD and mine approved within 10 days but my wife’s was pending but we divorced now but her EAD approved suddenly yesterday and received EAD card recently but during the interview I said i was going to divorce next month and Asylum officer take noted and i gave all the divorce papers.
Now my asylum status pending decision
Question even I was divorced my ex wife’s EAD approved and my asylum status still pending decision is good sign even my ex get approval for EAD ?

Your ex getting her EAD approved doesn’t mean anything for your asylum case—it’s just part of the process. Your case is still under review, probably for background checks or just because USCIS takes time. Since you already told them about the divorce and gave the papers, that won’t affect your case. If it’s been months with no update, you can check your status online or talk to a lawyer if it takes too long.

Applied - July 2015
Interview - October 2024 (manhattan branch of Newark office)
Fees waived, decision made - February 2025
I filed an e-request in Jan 2025 - not sure if it somehow helped or not, but I see others are getting updates as well.

Was your status decision is pending before or application is pending?
Not in my case
it was a 'Decision is pending' since the interview day. Yesterday I saw 4 changes, including fees waived to EAD, the interview completed, the decision made and expect it shortly, and fingerprints were taken
Thanks for your reply, giving me some hopes, Mine is decision is pending from the day one after interview, also had interview on October 2024 but it was Arlington office. Hopefully will hear something soon.
