Waiting Asylum decision

I applied in July, interviewed in August. Still waiting the decision... same SF office

I have one kid she is 12 now, @ First biometrics before interview. They said she doesn’t need biometrics at the center.

Isubmitted my i589 form in 2015 .
After 9 years, had my interview at uscis in November 2024. AO told me , decision will be by mail.
After my interview in December my case status changed to
‘Interview is Scheduled’
I can’t add my case in myuscis.
I don’t understand are they going to call me again for another interview or this is any error.

Hello,

I was unable to add my case to my USCIS account until a decision was made.

Is this normal in uscis case status that after the interview it changed to ‘Interview is scheduled’

As I missed one notice of interview call then I’ve requested for reschedule interview and attended in November 2024. Then after a month it changed to Interview is scheduled’ .
 
You're welcome! It does seem unusual for the status to change back to 'Interview is scheduled' after you've already attended. USCIS updates can sometimes be delayed or inconsistent. In my case, I had two interviews. After the last one, my status changed to 'Your application with USCIS is still pending' for a whole year. Then, it changed to 'Your interview has been scheduled' again, but a month later, I received both 'You completed your interview with USCIS' and the final decision at the same time. I’d recommend keeping an eye on your account and reaching out to USCIS if needed

Hi brother after 17 days of my asylum interview my case status changed from (decision pending ) to Application is pending For information related to the 180-day asylum EAD clock. Do you know what that means thanks Screenshot_20250202_013248_Lawfully~2.jpg

June 16th 2024 - asylum application submitted
Mid of July 2024 - Biometric done.
Sep 6th 2024 - interview done After that status - decision pending
Dec 20th - status changed to application is pending.

Dec 2nd 2024. - I submitted I 765
Dec 15th 2024 - EAD approved
Dec 19th - Card was produced
Today I received my EAD card - 5 years work authorization.

Hi I did my asylum interview 14 January 2025 and my case status changed from decision pending to application is pending, do you know what that means? Thanks

Happens to people sometimes. Doesn't mean anything per my understanding. I would sit tight and continue waiting for now.
