Waiting Asylum decision

Hi. I didn't do MA for decision. I did to get an asylum though.
Per my research, It was recommended to do all steps possible. Ombudsman is one of such steps.
 
I am planning to do a walk in there in the coming week . I did send an email to them and they responded that "your case is under review and pending final decision " Still don't understand this.

I'm from Colombia and applied in February 2015 at Arlington Office.

I got interviewed on June 25, 2024. (Not via Mandamus. I just wait.)

Today I got this updates. All of them at once.

On Case Tracker, it changes from "Application for Asylum" to "Application for Employment Authorization".

I think it is a good sing according to previous comments from this forum.

Great news! Gz on swift decision. Seems like approval since fees are waived.
Arlington seems to be working better than other offices.

When you get approval they issue new EAD. As your tracking data indicates, they did that so its 99% approval.
 
I applied work permit renewal as my decision is pending since Nov 2021 at Newark,
Any Guess ? How much time this work permit renewal will take ?
