Hey everyone. Has anybody here had an interview this year at the Miami office? How long did it take for you to get a decision?
I was finally called for an interview from the short-notice list in March, after a 10 year wait. It's been more than 3 months now and the decision is still pending. I read on another forum that someone filed a mandamus lawsuit, then was called for an interview in 2 weeks and received a decision in 2 months. I really want this to be over, it's exhausting

I will have mine today at 12:30 after a mandamus.
Gratz. How long did you wait before filing mandamus?
Did they agreed to issue decision after the letter of intent or you had to go to court?
Best of luck. I had mine in January this year, after lots of emails and letters threatening with mandamus.
Filed August 2017.
- Could you please share your experience if you happened to file a WOM for delayed decisions or know someone who has done it? and what was the outcome? Respectfully, for delayed decisions only.
- Also, are there any resources available out there to help preparing the lawsuit with reasonable fees?
- Is it possible that someone can prepare the lawsuit on his own?

I am Aug 2017 too, my interview last 3 hours, I feel confident but we never know, now long wait

I did my interview today with a senior asylum officer today, just randomly selected
Hmmm random or a big coincidence taking into consideration I did mine yesterday at Arlington as well. And... I'm from Colombia just like you.

3 hours as well. I don't know if it was a "big coincidence" to be honest. Btw I filed on 2015. No mandamus.
You AO was a lady as well by any chance?

Quick question - If one gets married while asylum case is pending. Until what stage of the processing, spouse can be added to the application?
