Hello there , Since 2018 I've been part of this forum, although I'm not one to frequently engage or comment. Nevertheless, I deeply appreciate those who do. I've always believed it's not appropriate to make final decisions on someone's pending asylum case. Instead, I think it's more helpful to offer advice on expediting the process, filing mandamus petitions, and sharing personal waiting experiences. It doesn't feel right to me to definitively tell someone they'll receive a negative decision or that prolonged waiting will result in denial.
Having experienced the waiting process myself, hearing someone predict whether I'll receive a referral or denial fills me with anxiety, depression, and countless sleepless nights. Many of us have families and children, and this uncertainty affects them too. I urge everyone to be compassionate towards those seeking advice in this forum and to offer them reassurance. Let's continue discussing topics such as filing lawsuits, immigration petitions, types of documents and applications, and interview experiences, but let's refrain from providing definitive decisions or false hope regarding someone's case.
Additionally, to those awaiting for a decision, I acknowledge the difficulty of the waiting period. Nonetheless, it's important to recognize the opportunity you've had for an interview, as many others wait years just to reach that stage. Take advantage of the valuable insights shared in these forums and try to disregard any negative remarks. Please, hold onto hope.
Let's assist one another on this journey with USCIS.
