Waiting Asylum decision

i agree with you and that's what i told him!! he will try to go to Canada or Australia and save his time instead of wasting 4-5 more years here at the court and at the end still no guarantee that the situation will change at the court.
How long after interview did the denial come?

Bro, this is scary, ive been waiting 2 years 3 months for decision.
from my experience the longer the decision taken the more the result will be a negative one!!! my friend did many expedite requests through congressman so imagine if he didn't do that!!! he would be waiting for 2-3 years and then denial and referral to the immigration court for the deportation process!! so cruel.

I waited almost four years and got approved. Don't let others scare you because nobody here is an asylum officer. If you have a strong reason to fear going back to your country and a solid asylum claim, there's no need to worry. Those who don't have a valid reason for asylum are the ones who get denied. For instance, if a farmer moved to the US and claims to be scared of his cows back home, his case will definitely get denied LOL. So, just relax and wait for your decision.

I really don't understand why some folks on this forum talking like they are seasoned asylum lawyers or maybe asylum officers who know everything happening behind the scene!! "from my experience the longer the decision taken the more the result will be a negative one!!!"!!!!!! MY EXPERIENCE!!

Who said I claimed that I know anything?!! And who knows I may know more than you guys do but it's not my job to say it!!
Anyway, since you are already tired of the process and instead of expressing your appreciation you guys keep complaining about the process and the system, then why don't you guys just move on with your life. It's not good for your health to stay here and keep complaining.....

Canada is the best option. They decide the case within 6 months and hopefully he will get there.

Absolutely, agreed. And one thing I would definitely like to say that I studied the immigration manuals and laws for five years. I am not a law student but I studied and did a lot of research. I always comment what I think this is best potential answer and could be a result in future.

Do you guys think congressman inquiries will help to get decisions, does anyone get decisions with congressman help?

Unfortunately, some people don’t want to hear the truth because they want to be a “positive energy giver” even if it’s through lying or giving out false facts!!!

People need to hear the truth not what they want or need to hear!!!

About 75% of people who were approved were approved within 4-5 months of the interview.

I personally was approved within 20 days of the interview, and others I know were approved within 1-3 month.

Does a late decision mean a denial? Absolutely not, but the majority of people who wait too long after the interview get denial.

The reason of the delay is that their cases become complicated and AO finds inconsistencies in their case. Only a few 5 out of 100 is the example of getting approval. But again it all depends upon the case and the other circumstances.

Just because you've learned about US immigration doesn't mean you can become their personal asylum officer. There are millions of applications in the USA ,making it hard for anyone to give a sure answer. Even the case lawyers won’t be able to predict their clients case just like you guys lol.

I just wanted to say WE DON’T NEED ACTING ASYLUM OFFICERS because we already have one for ourselves appointed by the US immigration who is dealing with our cases and that’s more than enough lol.

If you already have your green card please enjoy your life!

And also neither you need to agree with us nor need to comment on our opinion. Just share your own option with somebody without mentioning our stance. And don’t worry about us. We are enjoying.
