It is 1.9 months from now, what office is your interview and when was ur interview?
 
I am wondering why some people get their decisions in 2 weeks whereas we wait years? Do you guys think our case might be more complicated than those that We need to be background checked whereas they don’t need to do same for others? I believe they decide the interview day that whether they will do extensive background or just accept the case.

I had my interview 2 days ago (20th Feb 2024) at Arlington Asylum office, Virginia. As per my lawyer, USCIS have 120 days to send decision since this interview was scheduled because of mandamus and case is still open in court of Law.

can you share your timeline.

P.S. I think you will receive decision with 2-3 weeks (if you still open case in court).
 
07/02/2021: We received your application and issued you a Receipt Notice.
10/23/2023: Mandamus Filed
01/23/2024: Your Interview has been scheduled.
02/20/2024: Decision Pending.

So even with mandamus it took 90days to schedule interview? All the blogs say it should be between 30-60 days, yet they took 90, and another 30 for interview, hopefully you get decision soon, please update us

It feels like it’s been so long and I’m still waiting for a decision.

Hi all.
My Initial EAD was going to expire in April 2024
Applied for renewal on December 8th 2023.
Today I checked my account, under documents they sent approval notice online on 2/23/2024
And today I received approval notice in my mailbox. EAD is approved for 5 years.
