Waiting Asylum decision

Recent interview at Arlington, I'm in temporary status rn. Interview lasted 4 hours, the officer was very kind and considerate. I was ready to talk about more events, and he said he did not need to hear anything else. Good sign? Any thoughts?

4 hours!!!!!wow hmmm my interview was only 45 mins and got the decision after 20 days! 4 hours sounds so harsh

Some people get the decision in days others in weeks and most of the people in 1-2 years so it's all about your luck
 
i came in 2018 and apply for asylum waiting for interview and getting frustration and stress level is high for that i go my artery blockage in left is 95 % and main is 85% doctor recommended me for bypass surgery but I am scared to do surgery.
final i go my interview January 5 2023 .
interview took almost 3 hrs.
little mistake during the interview,
now waiting for decision I don't know how long they will take for make a decision in SFO asylum office.
please remember me in your prayer. my family is in my back home, I don't see them for more them 6 years.

But why do they delay decision after interview? Its really depressing and stays on your mind 24/7 everyday, its really tough to be in this situation.

(Jay Tarkiyana lawer) in san Jose saying some time USCIS take time to refer the case in immigration court i don't know it true or not better to contact with congressman and get decision.
 
I need a favor if anyone can help me after asylum interview how long I have to wait for FOIA request and which form shall I fill it out please.
 
Hello all, I requested FOIA, it came back not showing anything just my Asylum form. I also went to sfo i was told they are still on it, i am just tired don't know what to do next,

written congressman 2ce came back the same answer "background check'

filed for ombudsman in Dec 6th still waiting

I don't understand your question, but if you want to file for it, go to www.dhs.gov
They help investigate your case but they can't help in decision, I did it so as to refreshing my case with asylum office ..... if an external body is requesting about my case maybe it will make them to remember my file.
Can anyone throw more light into this if ombudsman can actually help in getting decision faster please?
 
is there anyone waiting for interview decision from Newark office? I have been waiting for my decision almost 3 months.
