Waiting Asylum decision

Whats the reasonable time we should wait for interview before sueing them? I am waiting for interview since Jan 2022

Hello Friends, One of my frnd came USA via Mexico boarder. He supposed to apply asylum in 365 Days. Where should he file asylum ? At USCIS or EOIR ?

For this purpose he should consult an immigration attorney because this is not affirmative case. Without attorney he can not file and contest his case.

Yes, USCIS handles only affirmative cases and the cases they refer to court goes to EOIR.

are you counting calendar days or business days, also we had holidays thanksgiving/Christmas, Did you use an attorney , please confirm as i am interested in this.
