VSC I-485 RFE Sent and waiting for response TRACKER

I am senior then all of you :) my RFE received date is Nov 10th,seen couple of LUDs on 12/14 and 12/15 and so expected. but no approval. I called to National Customer Service on 5-jan-05. She told me that I cannot enquire since On-line processing dates are showing still Jun19th 2003 and My ND is 09/23/2003. I told her that i got RFE and my FP status was never updated and bit worried.. then she told me that generally after RFE, USCIS will make decision within 30 - 60 days. for me this Jan 10 th is going to be 60 days.

Boss, did you see my signature? Not that I am very happy about it, but I am the unluckiest of all so far. They received my response to RFE on 9/7/2004. Its exactly 4 months now. No results. :mad:

District office received my response to RFE on 8/25/2004. two status enquirys nothing from them ,Its exactly 4 and half months now.

What the F#$% do they mean by "application is currently under review".:eek: After 60 days we call them and then they send us the same response again? They have made it a joke. :mad:

I think you can cantac the Vermont Customer Service, Alteast national customer service and can enquire about your case. why it is pending? name check cleared or not. Your ND is < Jun 19 2003.

You know what .. just now I got approval email for myself. my wife's case is still pending ..

I140 ND : 02/28/03
I485 ND : 07/25/03 (self and spouse)
FP: 10/07/04 (newark)
RFE: Medical on Dec 02nd 04
RFE Response Received by USCIS: 12/15/04
LUD Changes: 11/18/04, 12/02 (RFE), 12/15 (RFE Received), 12/16, 12/17, 12/20, 01/10/05 (approved)

wife's LUD still at 11/18.

One more thing .. mine was Lab Substitute with PD: 03/05/2001 .. so date retrogression is not a problem for Lab Sub cases with labor receipt date < 01/01/2002.
 
LUD Changed Today

Mine & My Wife's 485 LUD changed today.1/11/05, No Message Change.
RFE on My Wife's application --responded on DEC 14 th

Question ?

Have any one received any message like this from the Congressional enquiry and if they did, Did they get it approved with in 60 days ?

AXX XXX XXX--fingerprints cleared on X/XX/XX and the I-485 application is in
the adjudications area--the applicant should be hearing from this office in
approximately 60 days.

Anyone have any luck on RFE sent? I called VSC and put in an inquiry in last week and hope to hear anything from them, but none so far.

Hi Roj86,

I got sick of waiting and called USCIC on 1/7/2005 for enquiry. The lady was pretty polite and asked for all my A#, RD etc. She said that she would forward it to Service center and If I did not hear anything within the next 30 days, I should call again.

My LUD had not changed since VSC received my RFE response. However, This morning I noticed the change in the LUD. Don't know if it means anything, but keeping a positive attitude.

Unbelievable ... the process started in early 2001 ... 4 years for this thing! :mad:

Name Check and RFE Response

All ,

Joining the club . RFE was about EVL . Also sent Paystubs and Tax returns for the last two years . RFE was sent on 1/20/05.

The theory is : Typically it should not take more than 2 months to get case adjudicted after responding to RFE . If it is taking more than two months , that means VSC is waiting for Name check response from FBI .
As many of you know , there is a communication problem between VSC and FBI . VSC sends request for name check to FBI . FBI never receives it . meanwhile we send RFE response to VSC . Unless and until name check loop is closed , we are not going to see the green light at the end of the tunnel .

So try to include your name check status also in your replies . As far as my name check is concerned , Last two mails from FBI one in Sep04 , and one in First week of Dec 04 indicate that they never received name check request from VSC . So at this point I don't know whether sending reply to this RFE will move my case or not.

Keeping fingers crossed , while writing checks to USCIS for EAD renewal(s) .....
