VSC I-485 RFE Sent and waiting for response TRACKER

RFE When will reach attorney ?

Hi All ,

If the Case Status page says that RFE is mailed on 12/2/04 , Typically when will the attorney receive it ? (Sounds .. stupid question ) I am worried that it will miss in the mail .

I sent AC21 documentation during 10/2004


485 RFE ( 11/17/2004) ( Letter from original emplyer -- weired even though i sent AC21 docs, 2 months paystubs, Last years Taxreturn and W2's)

RFE responsed on 12/6 , updated today as received.

But the message says it may take from 365 - 560 days , but since initial processing is done will take less than that. No clue if it is a case by case specific or common to all RFE response recevied cases.

I have to start checking status 10 time a day from now on wards.

I have the same situation as yours...it has been changing for 6 days in a row 12/03, 12/06, 12/07, 12/08, 12/09, 12/10. Please update this forum if you have any updates.

I am feeling very let down

now that the PD dates arrived, it looks like it does not matter any more to even look for any updates. Specially with an RFE, I cannot even imagine when (if ever) my case will be touched.

sorry to be so pessimistic...but the whole system sucks. :(

LUD changed

I don't know if it is anything significant but both mine and my spouse LUD changed to 12/10 from 11/11 & 09/10 respectively. This is without any status change.

It was prepared by my companies attorney. But it usually is alist of docs
1) You letter with no intention to work for sponsor emplyer.
2) An EVl from new employer stating your job title , duties, slary and intend to continue employing you.
3) Some cover letter explaining AC21 law.
4) if you want you can submit last 2 months paychecks.

You can find lot of sample letters on this forum if you serach for ac21

I am also waiting. I seen LUD changes on my 2nd EAD but no change in message. but no approval yet. no change in i-485 LUD or message.

Congrats. This is great news. I see that your RFE response was received just a day before mine.
Hopefully, I will get 4 approval emails tomorrow!! :)

YES it is a AC21 Case

Yes, It is a AC21 Case.

Changed jobs in Oct 04 after 17 months of filing I-485. I-140 was approved in Aug 2003.

RFE was for employment verification letter to show propspects of continued employment. New employer gave me a letter stating the same.

I had the same RFE and i am using Ac21 . when they asked you about EVL did they use any wording like this. EVl from prospective emplyer who filed 140/380 with details about job duties, remuneration etc. some thing like that. I was wondering because they had that language in my RFE even though i sent AC21 before RFE was sent.

I had the following text in RFE.

"Submit a original letter on a company letterhead from your current employer stating your date of hire, duties, renumeration and prospect for continued employment."

Thanks. May be since i sent Ac21 docs before my RFE i had that language.
I think you didnt inform them about using AC21 until RFe for EVL was sent right?.
