VSC I-485 RFE Sent and waiting for response TRACKER

Same here no updates. Not sure whats going on. I have not called the VSC as of now. If anyone got any updates please do post.

Nope nothing

My case is stuck with an officer whose case load is over flowing. Mine is an open and shut case and ... oh what the hell. what is the use...?
I sent a fax on Monday with expedite request to get it before July 1st. How can they sit on a RFE response for more than 60 days?
 
How to find out name is under security check or fbi name check?

Hi All,
How one can find out their name is under security or fbi check?
Is that online status show any kind of message about security / fbi name check?
If not, how to find out one’s name is stuck in this kind of check?
Another question, At what stage this check begins? After Figure printing or ..?

I decided not to call USCIS. Just because my situation is not so terrible: I have a pending H1B extension, I have EAD and AP, and I'm not in a rush to leave my current employer. There are others out there that have bigger problems: Bad employment situations, separated families, etc.

In addition, part of my RFE was for court documents of an old arrest (no conviction), so I'll just be happy if they approve it in October without transfering it to the local office. I don't want to talk to an unfriendly rep, who'll tell me to wait 60 days from RFE receipt and getting upset about me calling and burying my file somewhere...

In other words, I decided it's too early for me to "shake the system". If I don't get it today or tomorrow, I'll just relax for the next three months.

RFE for my case also received by USCIS on the same as yours.

I-485 REF (Employment Letter from new company-AC21 AND I-94)

LUD1- 6/15/05 RFE received
LUD2- 6/17/05
LUD3- 6/22/05
LUD4- 6/23/05

Sofar nothing may be tomorrow else after 3 months.

Hello VA_CH any update today. Nothing from my side. I tried calling NSC and there was a 20 minutes wait, so I dropped the line twice. Lets see.

Still no update. There was no approvals from VSC yesterday and as far today. things seem to be slow. Maybe we have to wait till july.
Any were you trying the short cut to get to VSC customer service. Incase you dont have it handy, I am pasting it for you. This was earlier posted on the forum.

please call the USCIS national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283".

Here is the sequence of steps i followed to get to this:

Press 1 (for english),
press 2 (for existing case),
press 6 (for case statues etc),
then press 1( for knowing your receipt no.),
enter the receipt # to get the automated response saying blah blah blah and also at the end saying this is the most upto date information on your case and our customer the same info national customer service agents have (i totally agree with this).
Then choose to continue to the next step "press 3" . choose 3
Listen to the options-
Option 4 "if you feel if you submitted together and one of the applications is left out and not processed (don't remmember the exact message text ..but something about companion case "

You get transferred to VSC after choosing option 4.

is you case in VSC.
 
Is it OK if we use option 4 at the end which takes you to VSC directly(as per you). Mine is concurrent filing EAD and 140 cleared. please let me know.

At least when I called, it worked. It takes you directly to VSC customer service ( if their long weekend has not started already)
 
Guys,

I could not stop so I went ahead and called the VSC using VA_CH instructions(on how to get to VSC) and I got a very friendly rep on the line, She said everything is in shape and my file is waiting to be reviewed by the officer who issued RFE. She did n't give me any time frame and said that she is not aware of that officers work load. lets see.

Each rep has a style of answering. Some are forthcoming and some are frosty. I guess the same rep told me the same message 2 weeks back. There is one or two adjudicators who have issued a ton of RFEs and are waiting to review the response. Now they have 3 months to sit on them. I anticipate other problems as well. The visa numbers and backlogs are going to pile up from all over the country in these three months and will lead to more problems. Let us see.
Have they run out of visa numbers already? Is this all a "handle them" responses?

I always had a nice exp. with the reps. they were true in all my cases. My case is a EB3 Schedule A which is going to be CURRENT atleast till July 2006. So the officers have less work from 7/1. I guess he will get time to look at our RFE's. If the visa number is there(Schedule A, EB1, EB2), he will aprove,Other wise, pile them for availability of numbers in future(Oct 2005).

Lets see. VA_CH , any updates?

that is probably true. We might just have to wait till july to see our approval. Good that the rep was helpful. The rep i had talked to few days back was not helpful and she did not even take my EAC numbers. Previous two times they at least answered my questions and said that everything else was clear and just after that I got my RFE. Hope what they said was true and hope there would be no issues with Name Check etc.
Another thing I noticed that the two week time frame after RFE receipt was the min (example sugee) but you see variability in the case of V_k_G which almost took 3 weeks after their RFE received message.
Anyway best of luck to you. Please keep in touch and let me know if anything happens in your case.

SO we really have to wait till the next month.
I had one question. What exactly did you ask the VSC cust. rep?

Then I might try to give them a call. Though it doesnt seem that they would do anything before the long weekend.

RFE reply posted but resp received message not updated

My lawyer sent 485 RFE response on 28th and till today i havent seen response received message yet. My attorney said he sent one day UPS. I am wondering why message not received yet.

How long does it usually take to see this message after sending the response
