TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

Congrats...

Hi Alex,

Thanks. This forum is a beautiful platform to share thoughts and concerns of on this frustration journey. This forum has been given many of the virtual friends.

I know, we both are on same week of I-485 RD. Mine is Apr 10, 2006. I wish you will get approval soon.

One more thing, I never called TSC about my status. Always I agree with your comments that we should wait for our RD within their processing time. (Our earlier postings are saying same). I would like to suggest to those people who are unnecessarily getting tense with just two months of filing, “Please don’t upset by over thinking, just wait for processing dates and PD current.” All we will be in the same boat soon.

Alex: I guess now it almost time for you to call TSC about your status.

All the best

Congrats cap... Enjoy the freedom...

I'm in the same boat... my RD is 04/14. I called TSC last week and spoke to rep .. she didn't provide me any info on Security Check, FP, and name check. She told me that not to worry now as my RD is active now... I asked her whther i can initiate a Inquire on my case? She said i need to wait until TSC passes the Nov'14 Processing date and then i can initiate it.

She also told me that Currently the Processing date is May'02 means they r processing 1 month before and after Applications at this time. that's reason she gave me for inquire process.

Any Thoughts on this? Did anyone has same kind of experience...

Update...Background check

Hi all,

I got a letter from USCIS for a status enquiry about no lud on FP last year. So they sent me a letter saying my Background check is not complete. I think its Name Check as name is very common name. Am I right to assume that it is Name check ? So looks like I may have to start writting to congressman and others here. Any suggestions from gurus?

Hi socialmix,

Sorry to hear about your status. I hope you will get approval soon. Your PD has been current since Oct 2006. You may get approval at any time. You can officially initiate the enquiry from the day when TSC processing dates will show as May 14th. Currently TSC processing dates are May 02.

I guess on Nov 14th, they will update the processing dates. I hope on that publication, we can expect TSC processing dates around May 14th. So, you can intiate the enquiry after this.

Answer to your questin:

Current processing date 5/2/2006 means, now they are working all cases whose RD is prior to May 02, 2006. USCIS stanard processing time to give the decision on those cases is 60 days. I mean, suppose officer took the case for final review, he/she need to give the decision for that case in 60 days.

Good Luck!

Whoever fixes the bug gets Green Card immediately.

All Java Programmers, get on it!
You wish...
But it is quite refreshing to see that USCIS actually uses open source products, although on Windows-based server.

new website by USCIS

I am not sure if the old link (which we had bookmarked) would work as USCIS has launched its new website.. and I cannot see this facility on the new site..

:)

Go to the new web site (www.usicis.gov).
You'll end up at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
On the right-hand side column at the top you'll see the following question:
"Have you filed with USCIS?"
Choose "Yes" - this is a drop-down-style menu there.
Choose "My case is pending" - this will bring you to http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/us...nnel=a9243529fdb7e010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD
Here you can choose the option "Processing Times and Case Status" in the central column.
This will bring you to
http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/us...nnel=a9243529fdb7e010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD
Here, again, on the right-hand side you'll see a link named "Case Status Online" (under "Related links").
Click it and it will pop up an old page
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
Click "Login" and get the infamous Java exception.

There is a form on the very main page - right low corner - where you can type in an individual case number and get to status. It works fine - but does not show a LUD.

It is the login and portfolio features that are currently broken.

Maybe they want to take the LUD away, as too much rampant speculation among customer around it. :)

Name Check Clearance Confirmation

Hi,

I see that you have somehow confirmed that your name check has been cleared. Can you please post how you could figure that out?

Thank you so much,

I had applied for Canadian Immigration back in May 2005, when I had no clue where my Labor Application(which I filed in 2003) was in Philly BEC, and even now its not approved. So I just needed something to fall back on, thats why applied for canadian immigration. And I am almost through with it, I have already done medicals, and they should request my Passport for stamping anytime now.
As far as my GC application is concerned, you never know, whats going to happen anyway. They say that EB1 is Priority 1, but the pattern doesn't seem to be that way.
Thanks to you and mitra88 for replies. I guess, the time will tell, if my name check was really cleared.

I have just heard a weird case from my ex-co-worker. He is from China, but his wife is from Malasia so that he was able to submit his I485 by using worldwide EB2 category. He submit his 140/485 to Vermont at the end of March 2006 and case was transferred to TSC on 5/15. His 140 was approved a little bit later than ours (our 140 AD is 5/19) and just done fingerprint in August (we've done in mid-May). We assumed that his case should be approved by now since the processing date is already 5/2 in TSC. However, he told us that his status remains the same and he called TSC to inquiry. The weird thing happens....the staff told him that his case was approved on 10/20 already, but he did not receive any notice nor the status changed email (even the online status still remain the same). Then he asked his lawyer to call and got the same response that his cased was approved on 10/20....very strange case and we are not sure how his lawyer is going to find out what's going on there...
