How do you find out the your F/P and/or name got clearance?
 
Sorry,
you need to do that at your city's registrar's office or court. We went downtown and requested a marriage license. Once you have that either an ordained minister (in our case) or possibly a civil servant (judge) can help you fill it out (you usually need 2 witnesses as well). Sorry, I don't know more but you should be able to 'google' this info for your particular city. As far as I know your (future) wife should be present at these functions. Once you have the marriage registered in the system you can use it to file an I-485 on behalf of your new wife. Since this is an employment based case and not a family based case it shouldn't matter that you are living in different cities. Someone here might have more suggestions on that particular point.

Plastic card?

Hi All,
When you get an email regarding I485 saying "you case has been approved, we sent you an approval notice...etc" does that mean the plastic card, or does the plastic card follow after another update saying "we ordered your card...etc?

i'm just wondering about what is exactly the name check? is the name check done for the AOS the same as the one done when we apply to the H1-B visa in the consulate?

Predictin for EB2 India in Next visa bulletin of Oct'06

Has anybody in this forum analyzed what would be in the next visa bulletin for EB2 India. Are we going to see same date as was in July, will it improve or will it get worse? What’s your thought on that?

Given the fact that lot of back logs are clearing, I think it is going to deteriorate and we will see cutoff date to much behind, my guess would be sometime in 2001. Please share your thoughts.

No LUD on I-765 (EAD)?

Hello,

I had my fingerprinting done (code3) on 08-11-2006. An LUD appeared for the I-485/I-140/I-131 the day after the fingerprinting but no LUD on I-765?

Also, could you please update the tracker with the following information?

My 485 and my wife's 485 are approved this morning after LUD change late afternoon yesterday. Guys with CSC transferred cases, yours will come soon.

EAD and AP approved

My EAD was approved on 8/4 and the AP was approved today (8/16). Please update the tracker with my details.

Also, my wife's EAD is valid for 2 years :eek: but my EAD is only valid for 1 year. Anyone have a theory on what's going on with this?? (Does it mean USCIS think they'll not approve her 485 within the next 12 months?)

There is a slight error in the tracker.
My wife hasn't done her FP, only myself did my early FP yesterday (my appointment is 22 August).
She is currently out of country. I will update her FP information once she is done with that.

Also, my AP got approved yesterday (15 August 2006).

Just wondering whether there is similar tracker for I-140 in the forum for TSC?
How about adding in I-140 information into the current tracker?

My AP got approved today. File 7/7, RD -7/11, AD - 8/16. Except for 485 all documents Apporved - EAD, 140, AP.
