TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

The BECs have already cleared most of 2002 applications (maybe a few left over). I think the current dates take into account these labors. The retrogression will happen if people start jumping from EB3 to EB2.

I am watching the bulletin, because don't know when my PD Nov.2002 gets in the retrogression hole.

Now, there are many ( PDs 2001 , 2002 ) non-RIR applications in backlog centers that getting cleared .
The queue for Indians going to be longer because largest takers for H1Bs from India. From year 2000 onwards, the cap was around 195 K H1Bs.
Say Indians took 80 K out of that . So, for 2 years around 160 K folks.
Assume 140 K folks stayed back to pursue GC. Counting the family member, the total visa numbers needed become 280 K. Now, the Indians in EB are allotted around 9 K - 10 K per year. Yes we will see 5-20 year queue !!

There's a person on trackitt who just reported an I-485 approval (concurrent filing) in 26 days! When Texas kicks in for an individual, it really kicks in. Great for the person I guess, but I wish they would follow a FIFO system.

EAD renewal

My EAD is expiring around mid May.

1. Should I apply for the renewal now?
2. Last time my lawyer charged $150 per application. Can I do it myself? Its just a simple form.
3. It says on TSC site, that its taking 90 days to approve. I got it within 25 days last time. Any comments?

I am also thinking of WOM.

EB2-05/08/2006 / non-retro

Can you guys please suggest what to do in my situation?

I and my wife just came back from an infopass appointment. The officer said, my and my wife's security/name check had been cleared. Only thing is that they haven't assigned cases to an officer yet. She also said, my case was't sitting, but was moving from one section to another, so that should be a good sign. I requested her to make a recommendation to TSC to assign cases to a visa officer, but she said she couldn't do that. We haven't seen any significant LUDs ever since we had our figerprints taken. So, don't know what is going on.
Do you guys know, what this means? Any comments will be appreciated.

talk with ur senator or congressman, they will help by interfering with USCIS.

I have already sent a letter to my congressman, but it will take couple of weeks for the USCIS to get back, and I was wondering if I could do something in between. I don't understand, what else may be stopping them from assigning the case to an officer, since the security checks are clear. Do you have any idea?

so when u sent the letter to the congressman? if it takes 2 weeks to hear from them so why the hurry? u will know soon and hopefuly it will be assigned to an officer.

Approval!!!! Finally!!!! For my wife (not me yet).....

Today I logged into USCIS case status site without expecting anything (I didn't even check my email) and found that LUD for my wife's 485 case has been changed to today. My hands shaked, but I tried clicking the link and.....guess what? My wife's 485 case was just approved today!!!!! Finally!!!

However, my case's LUD has not been changed yet. My case name check may have not been cleared yet. But, at least, I'm relieved because now I don't have to worry about AC21 portability or any other issues which might block our pathway to GC. It would be just a matter of time now.

Since my case still is pending, I will be with you guys. Even after my approval, I will also keep up with you guys. May the blessing come to all of us soon.

Now I had better be rushing to my wife (I'm at the job now).

u can take an infopass apiointment at the closest uscis office and ask there. another alternative is to ask your congressman or senator to inquire with FBI about ur namecheck status.

what r ur case details? can u add a signature like i have?

My 485 is approved today. But no LUD on my wife's case.

Same here, my son's case approved, but mine and wife is not. Does it mean one of the spouse's stuck in security/name check since other spouse or son got approval, or is it just the matter of time?

I thought the process was that the primary applicant would first get approved and only then would they start processing the spouse... is that completely incorrect?

Well, looks like that's not the case, since they approved my son's case without mine being primary applicant.

Only thing I can think of as I mentioned before is minors don't have to go through finger printing, so if docs are complete, and RD is current, they will adjudicate case, maybe I'm wrong but saying based on facts.

Question and suspense now is, someone must have touched my file, so why no LUD on mine or wife?

Congrats!
