Those with RD -- On or Before 15 th Sep -- Not yet approved -- OR -- RFE issued

As per INS they are processing RD till 15th Sep. But we are seeing many approvals for RD after 15th. How many are still left with RD before 15th? Please add your details.

Processing spe 15 may means sep 30- 15

As on 09/26/02 in Rupet mor than 50% of sep approval for after Sep 15th Rd.
I talked to IIO yesterday and she said they are processing till Sep. 15th cases While I asked her, how come many of my friends filed with me ( Rd 09/24)got the approval? Her answer was It depands on the indivudual case.

Now I started to think "Ins processing Sep 15th cases" means Ins is processing cases from Sep 30- sep 15.

My opinion...

I believe that some cases selected at random (or profile based) go for extensive scrutiny. Therefore some cases take longer than normal. This process looks very similar to what IRS does with tax returns.

Do you guys have similar thoughts?
