Those who applied in oct/nov 2004

I got a LUD on my I140 today dated 04/11/05..Anybody knows what it means?Is it common to get LUDs before approval?

LUD on your application indicates some internal processing on your I-140 application has taken place. You might be in line for a approval. Good Luck.
 
I just called emergency number and the officer provided me new insight.
1. They have got FBI clearance but name check field is blank. The person was unable to say name check is cleared or not as no information was in there, which most probably means not.
2. I was asked if I had done the I 89 processing. When asked what that means, I was told that it means bio metrics, which is needed for issuing GC card. I was told when the name check info is not there, they go for I 89 biometrics.
3. The officer took all my contact details and told me to wait for 48 hours. If any issue on any information needed, I would be informed else everything is fine and just wait????? :eek: :confused:

For #1, I think blank means it is cleared, you can check old Name Check thread in the forum about that.
For #2, so does this imply people may get around Name Check trap if USCIS is willing to substitute with bio metrics? Then this is promising.

I am not sure. I was told that on phone, do not know how much to read into that.

485 receipt notice

you have to receive receipt notice for 485. It is for individual and nothing to do with company/lawer. what address you have given on 485 form?.
You need not get i140 receipt notice.
 
One way to find is using the check issued for 485 fee. If you issued check to USCIS for 485, check the backside of it. It would have the WAC number on it.

Oct 25..485 approved

I just received approval emails that mine and my spouse's 485 have been approved on April 11th. Good luck to all you guys waiting...Finally we are out of this ordeal...this forum has been awesome

Based on his old postings, it is his ND. RD is Oct 14.

I have a question..When did you get your 140 aprroval? Are you EB2, CSC?

Congrats raju_2004, You have got the freedom now.

If I am correct, your 140 was approved on 4/7, so it took about 4 days after that to get 485 approved.

Did you do your biometrics or it just happened without any other process after FP?

No Biometrics.

What is going on

Is there anyone getting 140 approval from Oct/ Nov

I dont see any approval message.


Mine is Nov. sorry I am getting little tensed now :confused: :D

My RD is Oct 22 no news yet. I've 2 other colleagues who
started same time of mine.

Colleague 1 -->RD Sept 22 140 Approved on Apr 11. No news on 485
colleague 2 -->RD Oct 18 Not approved

All of us are EB3 at CSC and all of us have PD Apr 2003 and all of us
are from India. You will reach there. We all will reach there someday :)

Our case is EB2.

labor filed in Mar 02, to DOL Feb 03, LC approved at end of July 2004. No RFE on LC and 140.
