Can someone explain more about name check . What stage of the GC is it done. Is it done for everone. How and where do i check the status of it.

And did you hear ay cases that were approved, which are filed in Oct 2004?

Mine is sent on 30 sept, 2004
RD 0ct 1, ND Oct 7 th
CSC- EB2- Concurrent
EAD, Dec 20 th

thanks to pilot program, bad luck it phased out at the end of Sept.

I think, the pilot program was going on for cases filed in three months ( Jul, Aug, Sep'04). These months should simply be not counted in JIT or they moved quickly. So, does that mean that JIT now onwards will not move in same pace? pondering :confused:

Forward Movement of I-485 Cases at USCIS Service Centers

It is not clear what exactly is causing this movement. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is engaged in backlog reduction efforts and received some funding for these efforts. This may have allowed them to move through more I-485 cases than usual.

I think we should just hang in there and hope for the best.
 
I had a lud on my 485 (March 21 2005)but not on 140.
What does it mean?? :confused:

Got a LUD on March 21st 2005 for both our I485 (spouse and me).

What do you think it is?

I also got LUD today 03/21/2005 on my I-485 but no change in status (still about receipt of fingerprints) Nothing on I-140. Maybe a mass update?
 
Tell USCIS and Congressman, if they don't processing GC fast enough, US economy will be impacted a lot since we can't concentrate on work.

No update for me after 11/10/2004 e.g. receipt of FP results.

My RD is 9/30/2004 and ND of 10/5/2004.
