Hello Friends,
I am the regular visitior of this web site and especially this forum though I did not register so far. I always get useful tips from this forum and was positive after seeing folks I140 approvals. I applied I140(substitute) labour on First week of August and got the RD of 08/15/05. Just Now I checked my mail and sharing the happy news with you guys , yes my I140 is approved.It is a big surprise for me. :) I was really surprised When I saw one of our friend case got approved less than 20 days before. Thank you all for your helpful tips and guidance. This is not the concurrent filing.I wanted to do it seperate as I learned from various sources , filing I140 seperately would expediate the case.It is indeed happened to my case atleast. I will catch you up all in the next forum..

my receipt date is 08/15, but ND is 08/17....my case number is SRC0522750***, what is yours? started with SRC05225 or SRC05227? thanks for sharing....

don't know if they will take care of my case soon...I am a EB3 case.

I-140/I-485/I-765/I-131 were sent in one package by my attorney to Mesquite. They all had RDs of 6/29 and a NDs of 7/1. Now just waiting for I-485 approval. FP done 8/9. I-485 LUD's on 8/9 and 8/10.

I am not sure if I understood your question. Are you referring to Receipt Notices? If so, my notices were received by my attorney who then pdfed them to me (around 7/10) so that I could create a portfolio at uscis.

If you are referring to approvals then:
Labor: 05/09/2002 EB3
a. I-765: AD: 07/26. I think I received the card shortly thereafter.
b. I-131: AD: 08/05. Received 2 copies from attorney 8/16
c. I-140 approval: 07/29. Received a pdf copy form attorney mid august.
d. I-485: FP (code 3) done 8/9. LUDs 8/9, 8/10

Why my 140 is not approved yet. Mine was 140/485 RD/ND 07/27/05. Please check my signature for complete info.

I-140+I485 filed, what is next

My attorney told me that they have file I-140 +I485 filed this week. Now apart from waiting what to do next.

I have seen people talk about online status check, how to do that, what information do I need for that?

What is LUD?

Yes. My I-140 was approved on 8/17/2005 and it takes ~ 2 weeks to get notice -- see my signatrue for details.

485 filing - Spouse not in country

Guys,
I am not sure this is correct forum, but you might aware of this situation and can share your ideas.

I just got my labor approved and applying for I-140 in next week, as all others i am waiting on EB3 availability dates for October.
My wife is in India now, preparaing for her exams(will be held in oct/nov). I am planning a india trip in Nov, so that we will come back together.

On October 1st if EB3 visa becomes available for my PD (11/2002)

1) can i apply for my 485 and put my spouse as follow to join?
2) Is it a stupid idea to wait until December when we both will come back?
3) any consequences if we file 485 sperately?

We have valid H1/H4 until Mar 2006.

I am not an imm. attorney but I can tell you what I think I would do in your place subject to the condition that spouse and I have a valid H-1/H-4 visa (not status)

a. Apply for I-140 immediately.
b. Keep I-485/I-765/I-131 eady for self and spouse complete with all signatures and instruct attorney to immediately file as and when the numbers become current.
c. My spouse and I use H-1/H-4 visa to reenter the country upon completion of visit.
d. Keep track of case status online.
e. If I-485 is filed in October, then instruct someone to check for mail if there are any FP notices, etc.

Please check with your attorney to explore and verify options.

I think you need to attach the Notice of Action (I-797C) on your I-140 approval when you file your I-485.

Congratulations!!! I am new in this I-140 forum. Since your I-140 is already approved, when should you file your I-485? How soon should you expect to receive the EAD after filing your I-485?

Guys, sorry about my ignorance but I am new to this forum. What are the meanings/acronyms of the abbreviations that you've been using?
 
how to apply for AP and EAD

I recently applied my I-140 + I-485 (concurrent filing) via my lawyer and she charges me for each and every step. I don't want to spend $1000 just to have her fill out these forms.

What are the numbers of these forms so that I can download from BCIS website? Does I-131 is for AP? Which documents do I need to submit along with these forms and which other information would I need? I don't have recipt notice for my appication yet?

Last Question : To which address should I send these forms. I have heard that if you don't send these along with the original application then one has to send it at differenct address or perhaps to the local office. There was thread on the topic in this forum. Could some one help me here?

Just wanted to share that my I140 got approved.
Received date: Aug 22,05
Notice Date: Aug 22,05
Approval Date: Aug 30,05

It took 8 days for the I140 to get approved. Now i just hope that the I485 open up in October. Labour was applied in sep of 2002

when did you get your receipt info? looks like you got RD,ND,AD all at same time :)

I applied for 140 yday, hope it will be approved soon, and as all others waiting for October visa bulletin. My labor PD is 11/2002.
