Good news is on the way of all of us.

My attorney tells me that TSC has a target of getting upto 2004 cases (starting Oct 1st 2003) by end of Oct 31th 2004. And by end of this year they want to make it 6moths waiting time for both I140 and I485.

Looks like recent approvals is a proof of that...

hope for the best.

Updated my FP info

We (me & my wife) have done our FP last Tuesday, Oct. 5 in less than a hour. My appt. date is Oct. 13 but they let me do it earlier with no question asked. LUD has not changed.

I-140/485 ND: Apr. 06, 2004
I-140/485 AD: ???
I-131 AD: June 17, 2004
I-765 AD: (RFE) Jul. 30, 2004
FP ND: Sep. 24, 2004 done on Oct. 5, 2004

Adding Case

I have added my information to the tracker. I am concern about the fact that people who have RD of around the same time as mine and some even before mine have had their FP done but I haven't even received the notice. Is this normal? When I checked online the LUD says all my applications were updated on 06/29/2004.

same boat...

Gc_4_life,

I am in the same boat as you. 140 RD is 12/13/03, 485 rd is 01/26/04 , no FP yet. I am not sure what to do ? Call up National Customer center or something else.

Question to Vangaru

Vangaru, you posted, "My attorney tells me that TSC has a target of getting upto 2004 cases (starting Oct 1st 2003) by end of Oct 31th 2004." I am not sure that I understand your post. TSC is processing Aug2003 cases as of now, posted on Murthy.com. By the end of this month, do you mean they try to clear up all cases filed in 2003, so that they can start Jan. 2004 cases? Nevertheless, I saw encouraging finger printing notices for Jan. Feb. 2004 cases. That is great.

Question about FP

Myself and my wife are going to India and I will be staying for a month and my wife about 3 months. I140 and 485 have been filed for us. My question is, if We receive FP notice when We are in India, what do We need to do ? Can We postpone/reschedule the FP ? Will there be any issues ? What are the options ?

Thanks in advance
Kailash

TSC Issues Approvals in Error!

TSC Issues Approvals in Error!

On October 8, 2004, The Law Office of Sheela Murthy, P.C. learned that the Texas Service Center (TSC) of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (USCIS) erroneously mailed a limited number of approval notices instead of USCIS receipt notices (acknowledging these cases were received). A server problem caused TSC cases that should have been issued receipt numbers ranging from SRC0424900000 to SRC0425300000 to inadvertently be issued approval notices instead.

The Law Office of Sheela Murthy, P.C. obtained news of this error during a telephone inquiry to the TSC Premium Processing Center pertaining to one of our cases in the affected group.

Question

Hey Guys,

I'm just preparing to send my I-140 documents and wanted to know if any of the documents - Birth Certificate, Experience letters, Degree/transcripts need to be notorized. I couldn't find the correct thread and I'm not sure if this is the right one, if it is not, please direct to me the correct thread.

Thanks,
Tim.

Hi Tim,

You don't have to notorize the certificates, just the copies will do. You will have to notorize only the affividavits. For example you don't have birth certificate available and your parents have given you affidavits in regard to yuor birth date and time. Otherwise you don't notorization.

Anyways why are filing I-140 alone, you should file I-485 as well, so that you'll get green card faster. Now all service centers have made rule that they'll process I-485 as per I-140 processing date if I-140 & I-465 are filed concurrently.

Good Luck for your filing.
