Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker

Anybody got finger printing notices recently? Looks like we are not hearing about FP notices at all in this thread...

Please update the spread sheet, as it is really coming handy to track our position w.r.to others.

Following info is from immigrationwatch dot com.

-ve side : Number of I140 applications received by TSC in 2003 is less than half of applications received by VSC in 2003. So, why are they so slow....?

+ve side : If you look at all approved I140 from 7/1/04 to 7/20/04 are ranging from Dec,2002 to Aug,2003. And many of them in Jul and Aug,2003. Looks like next time report will show big jump from June 16,2003.

Atleast things started moving in last few weeks.

Hope for the best.

I think more and more FP notices will come closer to the adjudication of 140 and 485, as per the latest guidelines. I guess any FP notices for recent applicants will be a bigger news now than it used to be for earlier petitions. I just hope that between choosing to move closer to 140 or 485 processing times, TSC doesn't choose the latter.

Is it possible that I file my I40 in Nebraska as my LC was approved in Chocago and 485 in Taxes center as I live here? If yes then can I file Concurrent and how it works?

Thank you

VANAGRU,

I read this in TSC updates posted today in this website

"Increase in EB 140/485 transfers to the district offices (Tampa), sometimes without the I-140 first being adjudicated.

The issue stated above should be resolved by the center. The I-140s in these cases are now being returned to TSC for adjudication."

Any new Finger Printing?

Is there anyone, who got the Finger Printing in last three month (May– July 2004)? If no new Finger Printing, then USCIS is creating new backlog in the name of backlog reduction? Is CP a better route now?

saras76,

Do you have any update on your unique transfer case?

Thnaks for help

No update

Jaiatl,

I haven't heard anything. Have rec all the notices about transfer. All state "speed up process". My lawyer is confused about the I-140 because these are not approved at local offices. I will let you guys know as soon as I hear something from the Miami office.

I-140 will be returned to TSC

Guys,

Just read on the TSC updates that TSc has been sending 485 ad i1-40 to local offices. In those cases I-140s are being sent back to TSC for approval. I am not sure what these guys are doing. I am hoping they don't lose the damn applications in this back and forth game.

saras76,

Refer to my note few weeks ago, in response to your post about your case being transferred to local district office.

Local district offices do not process I140. And TSC is doing a mistake by sending them to local offices without adjudication. They are already aware of the issue NOW (as per TSC updates) and local district offices sending I140 back to TSC.

If you are lucky, your application gets processed immediately when they receive from local district office. Else, count years instead of the months, for the mess they created by sending concurrent applications to local district office.

Will have to wait and see

Vangaru,

Anything can happen at this point. I will think positively and expect a speedy approval. Either way, there is nothing you or I can do for any of our applications. Speculating is useless. Especially very negative speculation.

saras76,

Right. Speculations doesn't help. But, that is what we have beeing doing on this forum. Hope for the best.

In fact, I am expecting the transferred cases will be adjudicated asap.

My EAD is approved on friday after answering to the RFE. Attached is the updated document.

Thanks

I don't see any 2002 concurrent cases?

Hi,

Are there any 2002 concurrent cases still hanging? I don't see any in here. Does it mean all 2002 concurrent cases, or most of them, have got approved?

How long it take to receive receipt number after submission

HI ALL,

MY application was sent and received (as per track number provided by my attorney) by texas center on 07/28/04.But till now check was not deducted from my account and also no receipt number.

Can any body receive or check deducted after my date?

Thanks
Karu

Is this unusual?

Hi all,
I filed concurrent EB2 early July. The on-line status said that USCIS sent out a notice for my I131 asking for more materials on July 23. But the lawyer has not received anything yet. It has been almost 3 weeks. Is this unusual? How long does it take to receive REF mail from USCIS ?

Thanks a lot for any input.
