Let us focus on issue

My 2 cents,
I'm also affected person due to outdated legal process issue, that is not only here every country has it. Let us focus on to get our process done on proper and timely manner; remember technological work and other corporate work can be outsourced to places India and China but janitoral work and farm work can't be outsourced. If corporate looks for more profit they won't be hiring legal technological worker not here in US, they will be hiring in India or China.
Corporate america works in different way than what you think.

I140 LUD: 3/1/2006 (No clue why they updated!)
1485 FP (Biometrics Code 3): 3/30/2006
1485 LUD: 3/30/2006


Based on statistics here, my I140 should have already been approved. Also I have no clue what they updated on 3/1/2006, as myself or my lawyer do not have any notice.

Any clue mates?

There can be one or several LUD updates without any change of status. Until the status shows as approved, you cannot be sure. Best of Luck.

My lawyer just received the Receipt for I-140.
It says: -
Receipt # SRC-06-XXX-XXX
Receipt Date May 4, 2006
Notice Date May 11, 2006

When I went online to USCIS website to check the status of my case, it says: -
Your I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER was received on May 11, 2006.

How come the Received Dates are different on the USCIS site and the Receipt my lawyer received.

Is this correct?

RD-Recipt Date is the date Texas service center recieved your papers-(i.e) May4th.
ND-Notice Date-Texas entered your information in their system-May11th,when you check the status you see this date only.

Well, I applied for myself (single here!), I did not apply for EAD, as my h1b still has 3-4 years to go. That way, lawyer said, even if I140/I485 is denied, I will still have valid H1B that way and can reapply.
Pls let me know if that's not the correct way to go!

Both I140 and I485 receipt notice has 2/3/2006 as RD/ND.

By the way, do they inform me if there is RFE or just my company or just the lawyer?

I have received all my receipts from attorney and today done my FP/Bio metric Code3. EB2 concurrent filed.

Questions:
On following receipts, I found on Notice Type as below:
1. On I-40 Receipt:
Section: Mem of Profession w/Adv Deg, or of Exceptn'1 Ability Sec.203(b)(2)
2. On I-485 Receipt:
Other basis for Adjustment
3. On I-765 Receipt:
Class Requested: C09

Anybody can explain, what does this means?

Change in Dates

Hi Gurus,

Please help me with this. I filed my I140 in Vermont Service Center on April 15, 2006. My case was updated when I checked online that on April20,2006 my case has been transferred to Texas Service Center and I also got a reciept. All this time the date for my I140 reflected April 20,2006.

When I checked the case status today, the date has been changed to todays date 05/19/2006, however there is no update on the text, it still says you case was recieved on April 20, 2006 and its taking between 400 days to process. Please advise what exactly is this change!

it is a LUD = Late Updated. It can mean many things or nothing. It happens to almost every petition, usually more than once.

If there is an update, it usually means tat they you could receive an approval soon.

THese stand for the following:
1. This means your case is EB2
2. This should have said as direct benefeciary of immigrant petition. Have you filed for your spouse as well?
3. The Class C09 is usually for employment authorization

Hope this clarifies.
 
140 Approved

My 140 was approved on May 16. RD 4/18. PD 4/2002, Concurrent EB2.

After 140 approval, my LUD for 485 and 765 were also changed on May 16 but no message change. I have not receive FP notice, any idea when I should expect my FP notice and EAD approval? Why no message change in the past two days even I see LUD change? Appreicate any insight here.

I-485 and 765 LUD changed to 5/16 right after 140 approval message. Anybody know if TSC changes text message for sending out FP notice? Thanks..
