September - Visa Revalidation Tracking

Calling the DOS
Guys,
I have called DOS 3 times and each time I have gotten a different answer. Two times I was told
" We are taking 3 months to process. Your passport came in at the end of Sept so it will be processed at the end of December or early January."
This morning I spoke to someone who seemed a lot more helpful and she told me that they are ahead of schedule and if my date is the 27th then it should be done in a few days. I am more inclined to believe this lady because she seemed honest and her statments were in line with the updates on this forum. There have been a bunch of revalidations for the 25th and also 26th. It all depends on the officer you talk to. The ones that said it will take till the end of december seemed to not care at all. They did not even bother to give me the exact date of receipt. When I asked they just said end of September.
So hang in there guys. I think they should be done with the 27th this week and we should all get our passports sometime next week.

Update on revalidation - IMPORTANT
Guys and Gals (especially those who have travel plans soon),
I just talked to an officer at the DOS. Luckily I spoke to another polite and helpful officer who told me that they are CURRENTLY processing SEPT 27th cases. According to her there are a LOT of applications for the 27th and she could not give me an exact date of approval but said that it should be SOON.
Here is my take on this. Even if there are a lot of applications for the 27th, they might take 3 days instead of the usual 1 day that they are taking. This still puts us in a good position to receive the passports by the end of next week.
Again lets just keep our fingers crossed.

SEP 27 DC RECD DATE!
Hi Folks,
How about consolidating folks who are active on this forum and have SEP 27 as the DC recd date.
This way, we would have an idea as to how many of us who are active on this forum actually have SEP 27 as the DC recd date.
Also instead of each of us calling DC office to check the status, may be just one of us can call them so that they are not disturbed by each of us calling them.
I can understand that each of us have travel plans in the next 2 weeks and we are all anxiously awaiting the outcome of the revalidation processing.

Another 27th approval !!
Guys,
