September 2005 cases

scan results -> TSC.

A quicky refresh scan of WAC06001-003 cases this morning
shows almost all the cases were transferred to TSC.
(excpet 4 that are still in received status). Hmmm..

My attorney is trying to gather more info on this new circus in town.

Transfer of I-140s to TSC

This is the info that my attorney sent me.

=================================

Transfers of I-140 Cases from CSC to TSC
Cite as "AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 06032412 (posted Mar. 24, 2006)"

In response to the AILA USCIS Liaison Committee's inquiry about reports of members receiving notices notices indicating that I-140 and related I-485 cases are being transfered from CSC to TSC, USCIS HQ indicated that approximately 15,000 such cases are in the process of being transfered. This is in preparation for the agency's "bi-specialization" program, whereby Service Centers will specialize in particular types of filings. For example, two service centers will handle all I-140 and related I-485 cases, and the other two will handle all I-129s. USCIS plans to issue an announcement detailing the bi-specialization program in the very near future.

Mine is EB3 - RD - Dec1st 2005

What do you think how fast they (TSC) can start working on this new CSC bundle? And whats the
order of processing they would follow? Is it that whatever the order they receive or they will go by
CSC receipt numbers? Do you think TSC would have to re-issue different receipt number? Dam thing!

I suppose the WAC number will remain the same.
Oh ! btw our 485 are also now headed to TSC.
Got an email sometime back.

My attorney said they have moved close to about 14K cases in last two days.

485 also got transferred to TSC. ND 09/27/05

My attorney tells me that TSC and NSC will start processing immigrant visa
petitions from now on whereas VSC and CSC will process non-immigrant
petitions.

did he say anything about what to expect in terms of processing speed... by when TSC is expected to start sending out decisions...

For the whole week, I think there was only 1 approval, other than the
movement of cases to TSC. Not sure....what it would look like for the next
week! On the whole, I think CSC did some work in Feb. Thats it!
There is nothing in Dec, Jan, March.

My 485 followed today to TSC.You are correct CSC didn't process many papers. If i am correct starting from sep'05 till date they have touched papers filed in aug'05 and sep'05.If TSC does not do the data entry again then there is a strong possibility that we can expect approval in about 2 weekes.I think your ND is oct 1st, so watch out.

She doesn't have any clue about when the case will be processed now.

I-140

Is anyone aware whether all the cases will pass through data enry again like when the LCs were sent to backlog centers ?

If thats true then the approvals would be delayed.

Exactly...
USCIS did not say any thing about this, in the report yesterday.

I think, they will not do the data entry again. Because, if you remember
BPC story for labor certifications, there were lot of talk of about
"shipments in volumes, data entry etc etc" and DOL even mentioned their
target date of completion about 6months to 1year from the date they
started it

But on the other hand:
- USCIS mentioned April 1st.
- There are just about 15000 cases from CSC, VSC are getting affected
- 140s are relatively simple ones than labor certifications
- 140s are the most latest petitions, if look into labor ceritifications they are
very age old applications and some are pending for years.

Basically, It would not be a too time consuming process. But, still it would
add 1 month to 2 months of delay. Its frustating for those people, who have
been already waiting for 6 months. Correct!

congrats cavenkat!!

i assume that the approval is from california - not from texas... i.e. your 140 wasnt transfered to texas. is this correct?

By the way, Did you receive the USCIS Email over the weekend?
And did your case not transferred to TSC? And was there any RFE on your
case?

Thanks
