September 2005 cases

Hi nikedude,

Did you receive the receipt notice at your home address or at your attorney's address ?
Also, where does the fingerprinting notice go to ?

Attorney will get the reciept notice.
 
Attorney got the receipt notice

Attorney got the receipt notice and sent it across to me.

The biometrics info is in the receipt itself and you got to call the 1-800 number
to scheudle it. The USCIS rep was asking for some code number.
I didn't find any codes in the receipt and after checking with someone
else she went ahead and scheduled an appt.
 
AP/EAD anyone? after Sept 15th cases

Anyone of you who concurrent filed in CSC after September 15th, received your EAD or AP? On murthy forum I just saw a couple of posts where people have got AP/EAD approvals in 10 days from NSC and VSC. I'm wondering if anyone got that fast from CSC?

For CSC, the trend is one month from ND so don't worry, you will get it in 10 days!
 
I had filed I-140 and I-485 on Sep 28th.
Finally got email from lawyers that they received the notice / receipt from USCIS.

Next: Do i make an appointment for fingerprinting or will i get a separate letter ? I have seen people are really divided on this, with no clear answer.

nikedude, it seems you made an appointment yourself.. right ?

The receipts says I need to make the biometrics appt. I did not get
any additional mails on this.

Get your receipts from attorney. Call the 800 number and tell her you
need to set up an appt for biometrics (FP,photo and signature).
 
Got the receipts for I-485, I-765 and I-131 receipts.

I also filed my I-140/I-485 on 09/28/05 and my Attorney got the receipts from USCIS yesterday.

My case has been filed on 9/30/2005, Iam not sure if its filed in CSC center. Since Iam a CA resident I assume that it has been filed in CSC. Iam unable to contact my lawyer since he is very busy. However I would like to check with you all, it is mandatory to file I140/I485 to the center where your residency is? Please give me ur thoughts...

I-140 needs to be filed at Service Center in which your Job/HQ (Mentioned in LC) is. I-485 can be filed at Service Center where your work is or when you reside.

You will receive a seperate FP notice in around two weeks
 
Received RD, PD for I485, I131, I765

Nice thread......

I131, I485, I765---- RD- 09/26/05, ND- 10/06/05 (Vermont center)

I have observed the archives in USCIS for service center processing times

-->On August 18th they were processing June 18 for I131, June 25 for I765 and Aug 19th 2004 for I485
-->On Sept 20th they were processing June 25 for I131, Sept 23rd 2004 for I485
-->On Oct 05th they are still processing June 25 for I131, Aug 06th for I765 and Dec 01st 2004 for I485

Observation shows that I131 is not moving.......
When i check the status online for my I131, the message says it may take 150 to 180 days. Is it for real that it takes so many days to get AP? Please reply if anyone have any idea abt this, since i need it urgently for travelling.

USCIS Biometric Appointment notices

Today we got the USCIS Biometric Appointment notices with an earlier date
and it was scheduled for 10/22 - Saturday !
 
When to to expect LUD after biometrics

Got biometrics code 3 done for myself and wife today. For those who filed in September, let me know when should I expect LUD to change online. Does it specify that Biometrics were received etc, what info. mssg to expect as normal?
 
My notification date for concurrent I140/I485 is On 9/6/05. Why I have not recieive the appointment for biometrics? Should I call to make an appointment or wait? Thanks

Biometrics appointment question

Folks,

My wife received the code 3 biometrics notice on Oct 5th, appointment was for 13th Oct, she went for FP today.

But I have not received any biometrics notice so far.
Anyone else is similar situation???. Is this ok, any ideas???

I was able to get in touch with my lawyer and it looks like my I-140 & I-485 has been filed in CSC. But I have still not recieved my reciept. Filed it on Sep30th. Hope to get in soon.

My ASC is SF ASC.
