Remand?

I am very surprised to find more remanded cases for Jan 9, 2003 today.

09544417 999-172-051 Remanded on May 25
09544425 999-172-112 Remanded on May 25
09533326 999-051-031 Remanded on May 25

Seems like those creatures in DOL begin to turn crazy again.

PERM Update??

Does anybody have any updates on PERM. I thought the OMB review period of 90 days was supposed to be over like 23 or 25th May.

If you or your lawyers gave any update please post it.

got our LC approved

dear all,

Earlier, I posted messages asking people questions in this forum. I thanked them for helping me out.

this morning, we received our lawyer's E-mail saying that our LC has been approved.

As some of you might remember, I am not very knowledgable of all the details with LC process. But here are some info about us that hopefully will be helpful to others

case number: unknown, lawyer's policy

company: bay area European- US based company, Mid size. Almost no lay-off

our case was filed with RIR. My hobby was in EB2 category with MS+ 4

DOL filing date: 12/24/01

our case was remanded in mid- March04. We were give 3 options
Company did a job market testing on March 28th. No resume was received. Laywers sent our file back to DOL on 4/26/04 . LC was approved today 05/27/04( lawyers informed us )

sorry I couldn't write in professional jargons as many of you do here. This news came totally as surprise. I still do not know how to react. I hope all of you will hear from DOL soon!

I bet they had kind of "General Protection Failure" in their system. If not, we're screwed, again!

organic,
Congratulations!
Can you share some more info like DOT code or may your employer name, which can help others to figure out some details.

Thanks

For these remanded cases.
May be these guys are not on the same job any more?
We need to find more, if this start of a new remand pattern

Does any one have any idea, when the FCLDataceneter's records will be updated?

Hi,

Here are the steps of my analysis for number of cases by month /date -

1. Search FLDatacenter.com for State = California (leave the date range as Blank, seems there is some problem with the date rang)
2. As the number of records are > 100 , download it as txt file (around 18 MB).
3. Load the data in Access and analyze :)

Regarding data being old - as data is as of Dec-03, it does not give latest certification information but still it contains enough information to determine the number of cases received at DOL before Dec-03. Please correct me if my line of thought is wrong.

Cheers and hope the backlog reduction centers has kicked-in.

Remanding again!!!!

It is not a good news that they have started remanding the cases again. Just now they are about to complete the remanded applications process again. Now another set of remanding.

What is going on in SFO DOL.??????????????

What are the chances??

Hello,

I am rather new to this forum. My SFO DOL transmittal date is in the first week of March 2003.I learnt from my lawyer that my case was filed under RIR MS with no experience required.

Can any one speculate about my chances of getting the labor approved without being remanded?.Is there any hope for me at all??.To make matters worse, my company is declining to readvertise the job requirement in case INS offers the options to readvertise before remanding back.

Looking for views/opinions.

I wouldn't lose any sleep on that if I were you. There seems to be some contradictory news. But you have to realize that's the way DOL has been and will always be, and there is nothing you can do about it.

We saw what happened last year, and it turned out OK for most ppl. So just keep cool and wait for a few more days. Then we'll know what's really going on.

Good news for cookers, these are the Jan 9 cases I found approved on May 25:

09544418 999-513-011 (baker) approved on May 25
09544419 999-513-011(baker) apporved on May 25
09544438 999-352-014(cook) aproved on May 25

All cases around them are either remanded or still pending.

Seems like DOL is pretty happy about the food they eat that day.

What was the procedure you followed to find this kind of information?

I just called 1-415-975-4617 and checked the case one by one around 09544417. The most updated case number is 09544426 now.

Hi,

Is there anybody on this forum with Regional Case Numbers in the range 0951****, still waiting for the LC certification ?

The DOT code is 999-151-031.

I am seeing lots of messages with case-numbers after this number, as in 0954*****.

So, I was wondering whether I am the only person with that number still stuck with DOL.

Thanks

gcsfo ... What is your RD ?

thanks

Hello gp111,

My RD is 01/22/2002.

I know this seems ancient in the face of all the recent approvals from Jan 2003.
The catch was that my case received two NOFs.

Thanks

Just checked the AVM ,here are some updates.

First of all 9533326 999-131-023 was receveid on 10/15/2002, and was certified on 07/29/2003. Obviously, AVM has different information on this case.

Then I randomly picked a few cases, and they are all certified, here is the detail.

9544430 999-151-032 received on 01/09/2003 certified on 05/26/2004
9544433 999-151-032 received on 01/09/2003 certified on 05/26/2004
9544450 999-151-032 received on 01/09/2003 certified on 05/26/2004

So, the conclusion is DOL is currently processing the 01/09/2003 cases, and looks like most of the cases are being certified (at least the ones I checked). Please cheer up and be patient.

Your're right

Your line of thought is correct....
