How come Approval date will be May20,2003 will be when received date is July,2003...Please think on it...

From 09544360 to 80 that will be 21 cases. Is the case numbering in DOL a seperate sequence number per state or same for the whole region ?

What's with 22-may-04 approval date ? It was a Saturday, DOL working on weekends for us :)

Any ideas anyone how DOL suddenly jumped from RD of Jan 2003 to July 2003? Is this a special case or an exception?

looks like a special case to me !.. may be a University /School filed LC...

I guess the number should be more. Since my case number is 09548*** and RD is March 5th. So that means between Jan and March there are More than 4000 Cases.

Correct me if i am worng..

Based on the data from FLDatacenter, for RIR cases the numbers for
State = California should be

Jan'03 - 1768 RIR ( 2131 total including non-RIR)
Feb'03 - 1507 RIR ( 1800 total including non-RIR)
March'03 - 1475 RIR ( 2017 total including non-RIR)
 
DOT code 999.172-072

Anyone has heard of DOT code 999.172-072 has been approved recently. Its for "Electronics Engineers, Except Computer". May be DOL is working on some specific DOT codes faster than some other DOT codes.
 
Check status of 09544550 (999.172-071) & 09544650 (999.172-072) in fewdays as they are similar to your case & received on JAN 09, 2003 ( DOL is processing Jan 09 2003 today !)

Is that Because Backlog Reduction Centre(S) are Active ! I remember an article these will be active sometime in May ! Is this true ? Any one aware of this
 
Where did you get this updated information, FCLDatacenter was last updated on 01/29/2004, which has cases till 12/30/2003.

one of my friend's case no is 09555*** for 25 th march so that means there are appox 8500 case between jan and end of the march ..........so when i said there are appox 2500 cases a month i wast all that wrong ........or may be these case nos are for all states in us

Hi,

Here are the steps of my analysis for number of cases by month /date -

1. Search FLDatacenter.com for State = California (leave the date range as Blank, seems there is some problem with the date rang)
2. As the number of records are > 100 , download it as txt file (around 18 MB).
3. Load the data in Access and analyze :)

Regarding data being old - as data is as of Dec-03, it does not give latest certification information but still it contains enough information to determine the number of cases received at DOL before Dec-03. Please correct me if my line of thought is wrong.

Cheers and hope the backlog reduction centers has kicked-in.
