I may be wrong but
What I know is you cannot change the advertisement, if you do it becomes a new LC application (has to go thru SWA again)..
 
Does anybody know about any approvals today????I tried couple of times but the line was engaged.

Not quite right. See for example: http://www.usavisanow.com/1-18-04.html

Employers who elect to engage in the “re-test” opportunity are permitted to make modifications to their application(s) so long as they do not change the occupational classification of the job opportunity at the original time of filing.

Changes may include different job requirements or additional duties.
However, any adjustments, including the addition of work experience, must meet DOL criteria such as experience not gained on the job, requirements not restrictive, etc., in order to be considered.
 
Sending additional info to DOL at the last moment

Hello people,

My lawyer just wrote "no qualified responses received" in the form ETA 750A when we submitted our RIR application after 6 ads in March 2002. He did not even bother to attach the received resumes and a recruitment report. All he did was send the paper cutting for the ads along the application. We recently fired this attorney and are thinking of hiring a new one.

Is it ok to send the received resumes and a "recruitment report" at this stage of the process ? I am expecting my case to be processed some time in Oct, this year.
Has anyone done this, is it a big "NO"

Please advise, kind people.

I would say wait for DOL to ask , because if SWA did not find any questions with your recruitment process there is chance DOL might also certify. What was the experience asked ? I mean Carlson Memo applies to your case ?

My requirements are, BS in CS or Engineering with 5 years of experience.
SWA sent an RFE for Wage, which we replied with an increase.
I, for some reason, think that, the lawyer did not do a good job and he should at least attached the resumes we recived and give a reason for rejecting the same. I think, that is the minimum.

just want to know, if this can be done at this stage.

LC Substitute

Hi Guru,

My company got one LC approval which is BS+4yrs recently. They want to substitute my pending LC (job requirement: MS+4 with RD 03/31/04). Can somebody tell if there is any risk to substitute? If it fails to pass I-140, can I file another I-140 with my original approval LC?

few more feb 18 cases were certified yesterday

I would say less than 10 were certified yesterday....

09547836 - feb 18 - certified on aug 18
09547838 - feb 18 - certified on aug 18
09547839 - feb 18 - certified on aug 18

09547840 - feb 18 - received status.. (999.151-032)

On to 19th

The last case I found certified was

9547578 2/19/2003 2/19/2003 999.151-032
Computer Software Engineers, Systems Software

They processed around 75 cases yesterday.

We need them to process around 75-100 cases a day to get this thing going maan!!

By the way they processed 75 cases and only certified 9 of them...

It not that they are approving only 7 out of 75... 7 are first pass approvals, others may require second look or checking from Supervisors.. What I have found that 15 to 20% of cases gets approval on first day, 40 to 50 % within a week & others get RFE.
