Hope you hear something positive soon. Although it's hard to predict the folks at USCIS. But Best Luck to you.
In April 2023 I had the green card interview, this interview is somewhat different from the initial asylum interview. The asylum interview I had a few years ago, and I never had another interview for asylum's status or otherwise.Thank you!
Wait you had another asylum interview in April?
Ohh, can you elaborate what kind of interview this was and what questions you had to answer? Since most asylum cases just move to approved GC without an interview. Also once you get your GC can you let us know if it was backdated a year or not?In April 2023 I had the green card interview, this interview is somewhat different from the initial asylum interview. It means there was a problem or something went wrong with your address and the post office was unable to deliver the USCIS mail. It's going to be returned to the USCIS.Hello,
Card Is Being Returned To USCIS By Post Office
What is this? What happened? Anyone knows about this? This is so frustrating.
Should I call USCIS about this? Do you know how long it’s gonna take to send it back? Online shows it might take up to 90 days.It means there was a problem or something went wrong with your address and the post office was unable to deliver the USCIS mail. It's going to be returned to the USCIS.

Impossible to issue a definitive answer because it is a factor which varies from a file one or even two years earlier compared to another recently filed. ***Important question but personally, I don't know.***It seemed to me that it takes more than a year from the filing date to the card production date. Is it applied to those filing in 2020-2022. How about those who filed in 2023? Will it move faster or it will go at the same rate as before?
If you were granted asylum status, you are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) one year after receiving your grant of asylum.I got my I94 on January 9, 2023 I wanted to know the best time to fill out my green card. wait 1 year or not
are there people who filled out their green card without waiting a year?If you were granted asylum status, you are eligible to apply for a green card (permanent residence) one year after receiving your grant of asylum.
